When actors do press days, they’re usually paired up in twos to chat with press about their project and that’s what happened with Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie while promoting the Avengers movies a few years ago.

It’s also what helped to spark the idea for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+.

“I feel like they really wanted me to talk, they were worried I didn’t talk a lot, because I get very uncomfortable,” Sebastian explained about being paired with Anthony early on in interviews.

He added that “they put me with Anthony and they were like, ‘just put him in with Anthony, he’s going to talk’, and I was talking by the end I was very lively. I was a lively person and it really is thanks to him.”

In another interview, Anthony also talked about his friendship with Sebastian, calling him a “very dear friend”.

“I think it’s obvious that we work extremely well together. So, the idea of us being a duo, it ain’t that bad of a thing,” he shared. “You get the glaze and you get the chocolate glaze, you know? Everybody gets the donut they want. So, I think we’ll all be happy with that.”

These other two Avengers stars were also paired together in interviews, but for an entirely different reason…

One of the biggest mysteries on the Disney+ and Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was the identity of the Power Broker.

This person has only been someone mentioned briefly throughout the previous five episodes and we never learned too much information. We know that the Power Broker runs the criminal sanctuary city-island Madripoor and this person hired a former Hydra scientist to recreate the Super Soldier Serum. The Flag Smashers, led by Karli Morgenthou (Erin Kellyman), stole the remaining serum samples and the Power Broker has been after them ever since.

We finally learned the identity of the Power Broker in the final episode of the season and the end credits scene focused on this character as well, laying some future plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Sebastian Stan and Denise Gough both bare it all in their new movie Monday and they’re opening up about what it was like filming all of those intimate scenes.

The film follows Mickey and Chloe, two Americans in their mid-thirties living in Athens, who meet in the heat of summer one whirlwind weekend. The chemistry between them is undeniable. When Chloe’s time in Greece is drawing to a close, she decides to give up her high-flying job back home and explore whether one weekend’s passion can blossom into something more.

You might remember that paparazzi photos from the movie’s set were released back in November 2018, showing Sebastian and Denise wearing nothing at all while riding a scooter through the streets of Athens.

“If it was truthful and made sense, then OK. Obviously trust was a big thing here,” Sebastian told TheWrap about stripping down. “I knew we were trying to tell such an honest depiction of a relationship that we were going to be open to whatever that meant, as long as it remained truthful and made sense.”

Denise says that she initially didn’t think she could do the movie because of the sex scenes and how these scenes usually follow on the actress to do the heavy lifting. She told Refinery29, “Sebastian carried his side, so I didn’t ever feel like I’m being filmed now, having sex. The camera just kind of moved around and we pretended. And then we jumped in the sea.”

Sebastian added, “I think, as long as everything felt earned… and it did. With every scene, not just sex scenes or the nudity, it’s like, ‘What’s the most truthful thing here? They would be naked because they just did this. And that.’ It always felt safe that way.”

The thrilling sneak peek at the final two episodes of the season shows heroes Sam (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) as they confront the new Captain America, John Walker (Wyatt Russell).

“You don’t want to do this,” John warns the pairas they stand before him, ready to fight.

“Yeah, we do,” Bucky replies.

Things took an extreme turn for Wyatt Russell‘s character in episode four and in a recent interview he said he hopes fans don’t hate him too much.

“I don’t think there’s really been many MCU characters who’ve had quite the dilemma he’s had in terms of trying to fit into this sort of moralistic superhero world,” he said of John Walker. “He’s been thrust into this role as Captain America and he’s going to do it his way, and he wants to do it right. But his way is a very specific way that he has learned through being basically a trained human hunter.”

The Falcon and the Winter Solider is streaming on Disney+ now.

Sebastian Stan bares his butt in what appears to be a still from his movie, titled Monday, out this week.

The 38-year-old actor posted the photo with the caption, “MONDAY, the movie. Out this Thursday, April 16. When I say we gave it our “all”, we literally did.”

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are calling each other out!

The Marvel actors appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show to discuss their new show The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and ended up opening up about their friendship!

Kelly asked the pair to share “one thing about the other person that drives you nuts” and Sebastian replied, “That Anthony won’t share his soft side with me or the world as much as I wish that he did,” he said. “Because there is a big, big soft side behind that mountain. And I’ve seen it—I’ve seen it sometimes, it comes out.”

Anthony laughed and seemed a bit surprised by his co-star’s response. “I share my soft side with you all the time, man,” he said.

When Kelly asked Anthony to answer the same question, the Altered Carbon star replied, “That he’s a hermit. That he’s always isolated. I want him all to myself, all the time, and he won’t let me have him.”

“I just want to go out and do stuff together: I want to go to restaurants together, I want to go fishing together,” he continued. “I want us to be besties that hang out, and he won’t hang out with me ’cause he’s so into himself.”

Sebastian managed to keep a straight face through most of Anthony‘s answer, but was smiling and covering his face with his hand by the end.

Kelly didn’t seem too phased by the awkwardness and said, “This is my favorite interview! Oh, my god, I love it!”
