Shawn Johnson is sharing an update with fans amid her battle with coronavirus.

The 29-year-old Olympic gold medalist, who is currently pregnant with her second child, took to her Instagram Story to reveal how she’s doing.

“Thank you so much for all your messages, it’s very sweet,” Shawn said on Tuesday (February 2). “I do still consider myself a very lucky one. I think I have it pretty mild.”

Shawn said that after a rough night, her symptoms are starting to get better.

“So hopefully that means I’m on the up and up,” Shawn shared. “Yes, I’m nervous about being pregnant and the baby. Just trying to get enough rest so I can heal. I miss my husband and baby girl, but again, it’s the least I can do to keep our family healthy.”

Shawn revealed over the weekend that she was quarantining away from husband Andrew East and their daughter Drew, 14 months, after testing positive for the virus.

At the time, she said the symptoms she was experiencing were a “cough, terrible sore throat, and headache.”

Shawn Johnson has revealed that she has tested positive for COVID-19.

The 29-year-old Olympic gymnast took to her Instagram Story on Sunday (January 31) to open up about her diagnosis.

If you missed it, Shawn just revealed that she is pregnant with her second child. She and husband Andrew East are already parents to 14-month-old daughter Drew.

“Got my results back today and they back positive for Covid,” Shawn wrote. “Not gonna lie…I’m nervous knowing I’m positive. It’s been two weeks of RSV with Drew and now this.”

“My body is exhausted. 1. I don’t want to get my family sick,” Shawn continued. “2. I have asthma and have had it my entire life so this scares me a little extra. 3. had a very close member fight for his life last month with battling Covid so it’s a serious topic of concern/hits home in our household.”

Shawn then went on to describe the symptoms she’s experiencing.

“So far, I have a cough, terrible sore throat, and headache,” Shawn shared. “Fatigue for sure but…that’s pregnancy haha.”

She added, “Not looking for any kind of pitty [sic] party. Just a reminder to take care of yourself. Drink an extra water tonight and wash your hands :)”

Shawn concluded, “Yours truly aka the quarantiner in the corner bedroom.”

Shawn Johnson has some great news to share – she’s pregnant!

The 28-year-old Olympic gold medalist and her husband Andrew East are expecting their second child together.

The couple posted a video on their YouTube page, which showed the moment when Shawn told Andrew that they are going to have another baby. They are already the parents to a 14-month-old daughter named Drew Hazel.

“I freakin’ knew you were!” Andrew said to Shawn after she showed him the pregnancy test.

They captioned the YouTube video, “Well…. we’re growin’ fam. We’ll be adding one more to the family coming this summer! We’ve been so excited to share this news with you and can’t wait to start this journey together. We feel so blessed to be in this position right now and are thrilled to get to do this a second time!”

At the end of the video, Shawn told her followers, “If you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, if you’re trying to adopt, if you’re in the process of expanding your family or recently suffering from a loss, we are praying for you. All those beautiful babies out there, all those rainbow babies, all those babies in heaven. We love you guys.”

Shawn Johnson is hitting back at critics.

The 28-year-old Olympian gymnast uploaded a video of her 3-month-old daughter Drew‘s first flip on the beach in Miami, Fla.

“Roo’s first flip!! @drewhazeleast 😂 (she was PERFECTLY safe… so don’t even haha),” she captioned the post.

However, the post still managed to garner some criticism.

“While she may have been perfectly safe, sometimes you are a bit rough handling such a young baby. And not making her warm enough when you take her out. She needs at least socks if not shoes, as well, and hats,” one commenter wrote.

“Are you holding her? Have you physically felt her sweat when she wears socks? Or felt her strength when she stands? Or seen her fuss until she stands up because she hates laying down. Nope. You haven’t. I’m her mama. I know,” Shawn wrote back.

The 27-year-old Olympian took to Instagram on Friday morning (November 8) to reveal that she and husband Andrew East named their daughter Drew Hazel.

“Hazel East 8lbs 8oz 20.5 inches long 10/29/19 Named after the most incredible person I know… her daddy,” Shawn wrote. How sweet!

The 27-year-old Olympian and husband, Andrew East, revealed that they’ve welcomed their first child and it’s a girl!

The two athletes announced the news to fans on Monday (November 4), with a black and white image to her Instagram today, writing, “You are our everything. Welcome to the world baby girl.”

The twosome haven’t revealed the baby girl’s name yet.

Shawn and Andrew have been sharing moments throughout the entire pregnancy with their fans through their YouTube and social media accounts.

Fans picked up clues from Shawn and Andrew‘s official website over the weekend when a pink onesie made it to their store.

The news comes 18 months after Shawn and Andrew found out they were pregnant but they suffered a miscarriage.
