Ginger Gonzaga has joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel series She-Hulk!
The 37-year-old actress has singed on to play the best friend of Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk in the series that will soon be debuting on Disney+, Deadline reports.
If you didn’t know, She-Hulk was the last major Marvel character to be co-created by the legendary Stan Lee and she is the cousin of Bruce Banner (played by Mark Ruffalo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Mark will be reprising his role as The Hulk, while Tim Roth will be reprising his character of The Abomination on She-Hulk.
She-Hulk follows Jennifer Walters (Maslany), an attorney who gets an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin that gives her powers, “but unlike Banner/Hulk, She-Hulk was able to keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulked out.”
Ginger is best known for her roles in TV shows including Mixology, Togetherness, I’m Dying Up Here, Wrecked, Kidding, and Room 104.

The 35-year-old Emmy-winning actress was announced as the star of the series last month and even Mark Ruffalo, who plays The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, congratulated her.
In an interview with The Sudbury Star, Tatiana denied she’s playing the role.
“That actually isn’t a real thing and it’s like a press release that’s gotten out of hand. It’s totally not — I’ve been connected to these things in the past and press has gotten onto it, but it’s not actually a thing, unfortunately,” she said.

While making an appearance on The Late Show with James Corden last night (February 27), the 37-year-old GLOW star awkwardly responded to rumors that she may play She-Hulk in Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series.
She-Hulk stems from Stan Lee‘s 1980 comic and is a lawyer who gets an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, giving her Hulk-like qualities.
“I didn’t know it was such a trending thing, but I woke up to a lot of Instagram posts of like side-by-side pictures of me and She-Hulk, which I just thought; ‘cool’,” Alison admitted. “And then that quote about an ‘Alison Brie-type’, which honestly I found very exciting because for years I’ve auditioned for the Anne Hathaway type or the Zooey Deschanel type, I was very flattered to be my own type for somebody else.”
Alison then joked with Corden about making some phone calls, but he asks her directly if she would want to be She-Hulk, and Alison begins to stumble saying, “I find it interesting.”
