Michael B. Jordan is all smiles as he hits the red carpet at the screening of his new HBO movie Fahrenheit 451 on Saturday night (May 12) at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

The 31-year-old actor looked handsome in a black tux as he hit the premiere alongside co-stars Sofia Boutella and Michael Shannon at the screening held during the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.

Earlier in the day, the cast stepped out for the upcoming movie’s photo call.

Fahrenheit 451 will premiere on HBO on Saturday, May 19.

Salma Hayek is joined by director Patty Jenkins and actress Sofia Boutella while walking in the women’s march at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 12) in Cannes, France.

The ladies were among 82 women who joined forces on the steps of the Palais des Festivals to represent the only 82 female director who have ever had a film featured in the festival.

The march was held during the premiere of Girls of the Sun and Helen Mirren walked the carpet at the event as well!

Fahrenheit 451 is an HBO movie that will air next weekend. The film, written and directed by Ramin Bahrani, is based on the classic novel. The story is set in the future when a young man’s job as a fireman is to burn all books and he questions what he’s doing after he meets a girl and joins a resistance group.

The 31-year-old Black Panther star was joined on the red carpet by his co-stars Michael Shannon and Sofia Boutella.

Other stars at the event included Lilly Singh and Tessa Thompson.

The movie will “depict a future where media is an opiate, history is outlawed and “firemen” burn books and revolves around Montag (Jordan), a young fireman who forsakes his world, battles his mentor (Shannon) and struggles to regain his humanity,” THR reports.

Fahrenheit 451 will premiere on HBO on Saturday, May 19.

Jake‘s the new face of luxury watchmaker Cartier‘s iconic Santos de Cartier timepiece. He’s set to appear in a film advertisement which will appear online and in cinemas this spring, according to New York magazine WWD.
