Sophia Lillis is pretty in pink as she strikes a pose at the premiere of her new movie Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase held at AMC Century City 15 on Sunday (March 10) in Century City, Calif.

The 17-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Linda Lavin, Laura Slade Wiggins, Zoe Renee, Melanie Leanne Miller, Evan Castelloe, Jon Briddell, and Mackenzie Graham.

Also in attendance were Coop and Cami Ask The World‘s Olivia Sanabia and Kim Possible‘s Ciara Wilson.

Sophia Lillis is playing the title role in the upcoming movie Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase and the film’s poster is debuting exclusively on JustJared.com!

The 16-year-old actress, who rose to fame with her role as Beverly Marsh in the It remake, will be introduced to a younger fan-base with the new movie.

Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase, which was produced by Ellen DeGeneres, is set to hit theaters on March 15.

Here is the official synopsis: “After the death of his wife, Carson Drew decides to leave Chicago behind and make a fresh start with his daughter in River Heights. But for 16-year-old Nancy Drew, life in a small town is mighty dull. She longs for excitement, adventure, and the chance to make a difference. Nancy gets that opportunity when she is asked to help solve the ghostly activity at the Twin Elms mansion. Can she help explain the creaking footsteps, exploding lightbulbs and the ominous creature? Is it the handiwork of high-school bully Derek Barnes? Or is it possible that the ghost of original owner Malcolm Colfax is back for revenge? Recruiting her best friends George and Bess, along with local ‘mean girl’ Helen, Nancy Drew is on the case!”

Gretel and Hansel has found its star!

Sophia Lillis has signed on to star as one of the titular in the upcoming reimagining of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale.

The 16-year-old actress’ breakout role was in the 2017 film It as Beverly Marsh before portraying a young Amy Adams in HBO’s miniseries Sharp Objects.

“The story is described as being set a long time ago in a distant fairy tale countryside and focuses on a young girl who leads her little brother into a dark wood in desperate search of food and work, only to stumble upon a nexus of terrifying evil,” THR reports.

The role of Hansel still has not been cast yet.

The young stars from the horror movie It step out together on the red carpet at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Jeremy Ray Taylor, Wyatt Oleff, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jaeden Lieberher, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Sophia Lillis joined forces to represent the film, which has four nominations.

Jackson Robert Scott, who played little Georgie, also was there!

It is nominated for Best Movie, Best Villain for Bill Skarsgard, Most Frightened Performance for Sophia, and Best On-Screen Team for the seven main kids.

Sophia Lillis does a wheelie on her skateboard while filming a scene for the upcoming movie Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase on Thursday (May 31) in Los Angeles.

The 16-year-old actress, best known for playing Beverly Marsh in the 2017 remake of It, is playing the title character in the upcoming Warner Bros movie.

The new movie “centers on a pair of elderly sisters and their strange experiences in their Victorian-era house, leading to the duo being accused of murder. Nancy must act quickly to save the sisters from jail,” according to Variety.

Ellen DeGeneres is one of the producers on the movie!

Sophia Lillis strikes a stunning pose on the cover of Schon! magazine’s new Issue 34, available now!

Here’s what the 16-year-old It actress had to share with the mag about her upcoming HBO miniseries Sharp Objects, in which she plays a younger version of the character also played by Amy Adams:

On preparing for her role in the story, which deals with Munchausen Syndrome: “Yes, the mother has that. I read the book after I got the part. It tells the whole story, so I knew what my character was dealing with when she was my age. It is a bit scary to think about. It was a hard experience for my character to deal with this mother who doesn’t really feel, who doesn’t really love her.”

On this being a recurring theme in her roles: “Yes, it seems to be. I always have really depressing roles and not good relationships with my parents, but I don’t think that’s true in real life!”

The issue also features Darren Criss, Cailee Spaeny, Olivia Holt, and Diplo.

In the clip, the happy real-life couple play a husband and wife hosting a very festive Holiday party for their big family, played by It stars Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff, Stranger Things‘ Caleb McLaughlin, Henry Winkler, Susan Lucci and J.B. Smoove.

“Santa’s Coming For Us” is the lead single off of Sia‘s brand new holiday album Everyday Is Christmas, which also features songs like “Candy Cane Lane,” “Ho Ho Ho,” and “Puppies Are Forever.”
