Prince Edward & Countess Sophie Make Rare Appearance With Their Children For The Great British Beach Clean Event

Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex pose with their children while taking part in the Great British Beach Clean on Sunday afternoon (September 20) in Southsea, United Kingdom.

Their Royal Highnesses, along with Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn, volunteered their time alongside other citizens and cleaned up the beach from litter.

The annual initiative, which is led by the Marine Conservation society, tackles ocean pollution, and with help from volunteers, picks up about 319 tons of garbage on the shorelines.

The family of four dressed warmly and walked the beach together, picking up items left over from humans before it washed away into the ocean.

Recently, Sophie has been stepping more into the spotlight, taking over some public appearances from Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, after they left their senior royal roles.

You can see Sophie‘s latest appearance to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance Station here.

If you missed it, you can see why Louise and James might never use their royal titles…

Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Returns To Air Ambulance Which Helped Save Her From Pregnancy Emergency

Sophie, Countess of Wessex poses inside one of the helicopters during her important visit at Thames Valley Air Ambulance at White Waltham Airfield on Thursday (September 3) in Maidenhead, England.

The 55-year-old British royal and wife of Prince Edward visited the airfield to help launch their 21st anniversary celebrations of the WVAA ahead of National Air Ambulance Week.

Sophie and Edward now have two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, who were born in 2003 and 2007.

Pregnant Kate Middleton Attends London Fashion Week Event at Buckingham Palace

Kate Middleton looked lovely in a black and white floral-print dress for The Commonwealth Fashion Exchange Reception!

The 36-year-old pregnant royal co-hosted the event held during London Fashion Week on Monday evening (February 19) at Buckingham Palace in London, England.

Duchess Kate was joined by Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Livia Firth, Vogue Editor Edward Enninful, Anna Wintour, and Stella McCartney.

Designers from all 52 countries of the Commonwealths teamed up to create one-of-a-kind sustainable outfits, which were put on display at the event.

Kate‘s dress at the 2018 BAFTAs the day before caused a lot of controversy, as she chose to wear a green dress instead of a black one, which would have shown support of the Time’s Up movement. See what a royal expert had to say about the choice here.

FYI: Kate is wearing Erdem. Sophie is wearing Burberry.
