Emilia Clarke Kept Daenerys' Big Twist in 'Game of Thrones' A Secret for Two Years!

Emilia Clarke keeps it chic and sophisticated while attending the SMS Battles Quiz for The MS Society, raising vital funds for Multiple Sclerosis research, at the Royal Horticultural Halls on Thursday (May 16) in London, England.

The 32-year-old actress was joined by her former Game of Thrones co-star Rose Leslie, Downtown Abbey‘s Sophie McShera and Phyllis Logan.

While at National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Stop MS fundraising appeal, Emilia opened up about her character Daenerys’ story line during the latest episode of Game of Thrones.

“People have always come up to me and told me how much they love Daenerys. And two years ago I got the script for this series and knew what was going to happen to her…,” Emilia revealed. “Every time someone would come up to me and say, ‘I love her!’ inside, I was thinking, ‘Well you’re not going to love her for long!’”

“It was so hard to keep it a secret. I would just nod and smile, and that’s why I had this sort of furrowed-eyebrow expression a lot of the time,” Emilia added. “My eyebrows would sort of curl up.”
