Drew Barrymore took on Stella McCartney‘s Instagram staircase challenge on Wednesday (April 1), and the results are pretty hilarious.

“DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! My staircase is keeping me occupied… what are you guys doing to fill the time?,” Stella wrote on her own original post of her challenge, in which she’s seen sliding down the stairs with a rug.

Later on, she posted Drew‘s effort.

“@DrewBarrymore took on my staircase challenge… in a much safer way, thankfully! How are you (safely!) using your steps or staircase? Show me by using #StellaStaircase and I’ll send something to the best one!,” she wrote.

Drew recently had a playful exchange with a famous ex on Instagram.

Stella McCartney is surrounded by her four children – Bailey, Miller, Beckett, and Reiley – while posing for the cover of Vogue‘s January 2020 issue.

Here is what the 48-year-old fashion designer had to share with the mag:

On being environmentally conscious since childhood: “I was privileged. I grew up on an organic farm; I saw the seasons. My parents were vegetarians—they were change agents.”

On how she her practices have impacted other brands: “That’s not for me to say. That would be so unchic of us. But we are a kind of incubator. I have sympathy for how hard it is to shift the massive Titanic ship away from the iceberg. We’re a little agile sailboat, and we built the ship. And I think that’s easier than changing something that’s been going in one direction for so long.”

On how she sees her company’s role in the fashion industry: “I think that in a sense we’re a project. We’re trying to prove that this is a viable way to do business in our industry—and that you don’t have to sacrifice any style or any edginess or coolness in order to work this way. At the end of the day, we’re a fashion house trying to deliver on the promise of desirability… And I have to find the balance between this conversation of fashion and the conversation of consciousness—and they have to complement each other.”

On finding a balance between work and family: “You know what I was doing this weekend? I was riding my horse barefoot and bareback, with my daughter [Reiley]. It was about as good as it gets.”

The 44-year-old actress linked arms with the 48-year-old designer as they headed to a party on Thursday (October 31) in the Big Apple.

Drew stepped out in a floral-print kimono and feathered headpiece while Stella wore a lace mask over her eyes paired with a fringe cape for their night out.

Earlier this week, Drew supported Stella at the 2019 WWD Honors event, where the designer was presented with the Honor for Corporate Citizenship for her company’s initiatives towards sustainability.

Stella was presented with the Honor for Corporate Citizenship for her company’s initiatives towards sustainability.

Emmy Rossum was there to help honor Giorgio Armani with the John B. Fairchild Honor.

Maison Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli was presented with the first-ever WWD Honor for Womenswear Designer. He was joined by model Iman and socialite Nicky Hilton.

Dior Men artistic director Kim Jones received the first-ever WWD Honor for Men’s Wear Designer.

Also in attendance were Olivia Palermo and husband Johannes Huebl.

FYI: Drew is wearing a Stella McCartney dress. Iman is wearing a Valentino dress.

Ellie Goulding strikes a fierce pose while stepping out for the Stella McCartney Womenswear Spring/Summer 2020 Show held as part of Paris Fashion Week on Monday (September 30) in Paris, France.

The 32-year-old hit-maker was joined at the event by Iris Law, Maisie Williams, Constance Jablonski and pregnant Clemence Poesy as they all sat in the front row of the presentation.

Also in attendance to show support for his daughter Stella McCartney was Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell.

Grimes is striking a pose!

The 31-year-old musician stars in the adidas by Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2019 collection.

The materials and production methods used to create the collection include recycled polyester made with Parley Ocean Plastic and regenerated ECONYLTM yarn.
