'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' & 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' Set to Bring Back Live Studio Audiences

The Late Show and The Tonight Show are announcing some very exciting news!

According to Variety, Stephen Colbert‘s show will resume filming in front of a live audience starting June 14.

Audience members will be required to show proof of vaccination prior to entering and face masks will be option. Testing will continue for staff and crew members, who will also be screened daily for symptoms.

Additionally, a COVID-19 compliance officer will be on staff to monitor and enforce all health and safety protocols.

“Over the last 437 days, my staff and crew (and family!) have amazed me with their professionalism and creativity as we made shows for an audience we couldn’t see or hear,” the host said in a statement. “I look forward to once again doing shows for an audience I can smell and touch.”

The Tonight Show also announced that they will be bringing a full studio audience back for their shows starting early next month, per Deadline. Host Jimmy Fallon has been filming the show in front of a limited audiences of less than 60 people since March 22.

The Late Show had its first in-person guest in over a year last week when John Krasinski stopped by the show to discuss A Quiet Place Part II.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert just welcomed their first in-person guest in 14 months and it was John Krasinski!

The 41-year-old actor and director, who is promoting A Quiet Place Part II, appeared on the late night show on Thursday (May 20) in New York City.

During the interview, John and Stephen had an arm wrestling competition and you can watch the video below to see who won.

John opened up about working with wife Emily Blunt on the sequel to their hit horror film. He said, “The truth is I think she’s the most talented actress we have. She’s just the most unbelievably talented person but also, more than acting, she’s just an incredible person to have on set.”

Taylor Swift Tries to Prove 'Hey Stephen' Isn't About Stephen Colbert - Watch Now!

Taylor Swift is bringing the laughs to late night TV!

The 31-year-old entertainer appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for an interview on Tuesday night (April 13) to promote her re-recorded Fearless album.

During the interview, Stephen asked Taylor if her song “Hey Stephen” is about him.

Taylor tries to convince him that the song isn’t about him, but all the signs seem to point that it might really be about him!

“It was really fun to record it again. In fact, to get me back in the same headspace as when I wrote it, I just wanted it to be really authentic as an experience, so I dug out my old mood board,” Taylor then holds up a giant poster board that is covered with photos of Stephen, along with heart stickers.

“OK, um… Taylor, those are all pictures of me,” Stephen points out.

Taylor then looks down at the board, and responds, “No” before pointing to one image in the corner: “This is a pizza.”

Then, towards the end of clip, Taylor says who “Hey Stephen” is really about – horror author Stephen King!
