LeBron James & Stephen Curry Say Their Teams Won’t Visit White House If They Win NBA Finals

LeBron James and Stephen Curry might be competing against each other in the 2018 NBA Finals, but the two basketball stars are on the same page when it comes to one thing.

During a press conference on Tuesday (June 5), the 33-year-old Cleveland Cavilers player addressed President Trump dis-inviting Super Bowl winners the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House over their opposing views on kneeling for the National Anthem.

LeBron shared his thoughts on the decision, and revealed that neither the Cavilers or the Golden State Warriors plan on visiting Trump at the White House if they win the Finals.

“It’s typical of him,” LeBron said of Trump. “I’m not surprised. I mean, no matter who wins this series, no one wants the invite anyway. It won’t be Golden State or Cleveland going."

After winning the Finals last year and skipping out on the White House, Stephen said he doesn't plan on going if he wins again this year.

“I’m pretty sure the way we handled things last year,” Stephen shared during press conference, “we’ll stay consistent with that.”

The Cavaliers will face the Warriors in Game 3 on Wednesday, June 6, on ABC.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs & Stephen Curry Want to Buy Carolina Panthers – Read Their Tweets

Two celebrities have emerged as potential buyers for the Carolina Panthers NFL team after the current owner announced the team will be sold amid sexual misconduct allegations.

Both Sean "Diddy" Combs and NBA star Stephen Curry tweeted about the team.

"I would like to buy the @Panthers. Spread the word. Retweet!," Diddy tweeted, adding, "There are no majority African American NFL owners. Let's make history."

The team will not be sold until the last Carolina Panthers game is played, and that date is not yet known at this time.

Trump Uninvites Golden State Warriors to White House, Team Will Instead Promote Equality in DC

The Golden State Warriors are speaking out after President Trump uninvited the team from a visit to the White House.

Championship sports teams are often invited to the White House for a visit with the president, but Stephen Curry said he was not interested in meeting Trump following the Warriors' win in the NBA Finals.

"Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team. Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!" Trump tweeted on Saturday morning (September 23).

While the team as a whole had not made a decision as a whole about visiting the White House, a statement was released saying the team will not visit following Trump's remarks.

"While we intended to meet as a team at the first opportunity we had this morning to collaboratively discuss a potential visit to the White House, we accept that President Trump has made it clear that we are not invited," the Warriors said in a statement. "We believe there is nothing more American than our citizens having the right to express themselves freely on matters important to them. We're disappointed that we did not have an opportunity during this process to share our views or have open dialogue on issues impacting our communities that we felt would be important to raise."

"In lieu of a visit to the White House, we have decided that we'll constructively use our trip to the nation's capital in February to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion – the values that we embrace as an organization," the statement added.

LeBron James' response to Trump's tweet has gone viral.
