Sting's Oscars Performance Video 2017 - Watch Sting Sing 'The Empty Chair'

Sting gave an emotional performance of his nominated song at the 2017 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood.

The 55-year-old singer hit a blacked-out stage with just a spotlight on him and his guitar, as he gave a beautiful and haunting performance of “The Empty Chair.”

“The Empty Chair” earned Sting his fourth Best Original Song nomination.

The song is featured on the soundtrack for the documentary Jim: The James Foley Story. The film chronicles tells story of American journalist James Foley, who was captured in Syria and became the first American citizen to be killed by ISIS when he was beheaded in 2014.

Sting & Wife Trudie Styler are Regal at Oscars 2017

Sting and his wife Trudie Styler celebrate the singer’s fourth nomination at the 2017 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood.

The 65-year-old singer and his wife, who celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary this August, are the picture-perfect couple.

On the red carpet, Sting said he’s honored to be nominated for his fourth Academy Award, and then added with a laugh, “but I’ve never won.”

Sting‘s song “The Empty Chair” from The James Foley Story marks his fourth Best Original Song nomination.

Make sure to tune in for the Oscars, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, TONIGHT at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT on ABC.

So Many Stars Stepped Out for Rock4EB's Annual Benefit

So many celebrity guests were in attendance to support the 2017 Rock4EB! event presented by Alex and Ani founder Carolyn Rafaelian to benefit rare disease Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) on Saturday (January 14) at a private residence in Malibu, Calif.

Sting and Chris Cornell performed, while Zach Galifianakis acted as host. Seen stepping out for the huge annual event were Charlie Hunnam, Elizabeth Olsen, Brad Pitt, Kaley Cuoco, Garrett Hedlund, Rami Malek, Courteney Cox, Heidi Klum, Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, David Spade, Insecure‘s Jay Ellis, Kevin Nealon, and many more.

Some of the celebs got to meet Hollywood agent Andrea Pett-Joseph‘s son Brandon, who suffers from the disease.

EB is a rare and life threatening disease of the skin. The disease causes blister formation after minor trauma to the skin, including scarring and disfiguring of the skin and internal organs.

Idina Menzel, Damian Lewis & Jennifer Nettles Team Up To Raise Money For Rainforest Fund!

Idina Menzel and Jennifer Nettles have teamed up for an “incredibly important cause”!

The two singers were joined by Damian Lewis, Gina Gershon, designer Donna Karan and hosts Sting and his wife Trudie Styler at “Baby It’s Cold Outside”: The 2016 Revlon Holiday Concert for The Rainforest Fund Gala held at JW Marriott Essex House on Wednesday (December 14) in New York City.

Idina, Jennifer and Sting hit the stage to raise awareness for the work of the Rainforest Fund, which provides to communities of indigenous peoples throughout Brazil and other countries, including Belize, Cameroon, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Indonesia, Madagascar, Mexico, Nicaragua, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela.

“One of the things about this night, the audience comes expecting to see unusual combinations of singers,” Sting said in the press release. “Because I’ve never recorded it, everyone lets their hair down. We raise a good amount of money for what I consider to be an incredibly important cause, but they have one heck of a night.”

VIDEO: Andy Cohen Kisses Sting While Playing Spin the Bottle!

Andy Cohen got to kiss both Sting and his wife Trudie Styler while playing a game of “Spin the Message in a Bottle” during the latest episode of Watch What Happens Live.

The 48-year-old talk show host and Bravo exec sat down with the married couple for the episode and they all participated in the steamy game.

One person would have to spin the electronic bottle and whoever it landed on would have to answer a question. If they didn’t want to answer the question, they could kiss the person who spun the bottle. Andy took the opportunity to kiss the two stars!
