Storm Reid poses with David Oyelowo while they promote their new film, Don’t Let Go, at Build Series in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (August 7).

The 16-year-old actress was seen later that night on Late Night with Seth Meyers, which was her late night talk show debut.

There, Storm revealed that she had a unique experience for her 16th birthday – dining out with her family in complete darkness.

“The servers and waiters were blind. I actually had to step outside myself and no be so selfish, because why wouldn’t I be able to spend an hour in a dark room when these people have to spend their entire lives like this?” Storm explained.

The next day (August 8), Storm was spotted arriving for her appearance on The Today Show.

The trailer for the upcoming Don’t Let Go has been released!

David Oyelowo and Storm Reid star in the upcoming thriller flick directed by Jacob Estes.

Here’s the synopsis: Detective Jack Radcliff (Oyelowo) gets a shocking phone call from his recently-murdered niece Ashley (Reid). Working together across time, they race to solve her murder before it can happen.

Other stars in film include Mykelti Williamson, Brian Tyree Henry, Shinelle Azoroh, Byron Mann, April Grace, and Alfred Molina.

The Suicide Squad just added Storm Reid to its’ already star-studded cast!

The 16-year-old actress will star opposite Idris Elba, John Cena and David Dastmalchian in the flick, THR reports.

James Gunn will direct with Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney and Viola Davis returning for the second film.

The plot of the flick is being “kept under wraps” but Storm will be playing the daughter of Idris‘ mysterious character.

The Suicide Squad is set to start filming in Atlanta in September.

Zendaya strikes a pose on the red carpet at the premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home on Wednesday (June 26) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

The 22-year-old star sparkled in a red and black dress as she joined co-stars Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal at the premiere.

Fellow cast mates in attendance included Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Marisa Tomei, and Jacob Batalon.

The 15-year-old actress was joined at the awards show by her Euphoria co-stars Hunter Schafer and Alexa Demie.
