Nicole Kidman looks nearly unrecognizable in the brand new trailer for Destroyer.

Here’s a synopsis of the movie, in theaters on December 25: Destroyer follows the moral and existential odyssey of LAPD detective Erin Bell who, as a young cop, was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results. When the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she must work her way back through the remaining members and into her own history with them to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her past.

Sebastian Stan, Toby Kebbell, Tatiana Maslany, Bradley Whitford, Jade Pettyjohn, and more also star.

At the event, the 32-year-old Orphan Black actress gushed about her fellow Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series nominee Sandra Oh – who is the first actress of Asian descent to be nominated in that category.

“She was so funny and so cool, I’ve been a fan of her work for years so it was nice to meet her and to see that she’s just this very real and cool person,” Tatiana told ET Canada. “If I could vote, I’d be voting for her for sure.”

Nicole Kidman looked wonderful in white at the Destroyer premiere!

The 51-year-old actress stepped out at event as part of the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on Monday evening (September 10) at Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

She was also joined at the premiere by her co-stars Sebastian Stan, Tatiana Maslany, James Jordan and Shamier Anderson.

The film follows a police detective who reconnects with people from an undercover assignment in her distant past in order to make peace.

Destroyer hits theaters on December 25th.

Tatiana Maslany will be making her Broadway debut in the upcoming play Network alongside Bryan Cranston.

The Emmy-winning Orphan Black actress will take on the role of Diana Christensen.

Network is based on the iconic Academy Award-winning film. Here’s the synopsis: “Howard Beale (Cranston), news anchor-man, isn’t pulling in the viewers. In his final broadcast he unravels live on screen. But when ratings soar, the network seizes on their newfound populist prophet, and Howard becomes the biggest thing on TV. Network depicts a media landscape where opinion trumps fact.”

The play will begin performances on November 10 at the Belasco Theatre in New York City. The official opening night is set for December 6. The strictly limited engagement will run for 18 weeks only.

Tatiana Maslany hit Stephen Colbert‘s couch on The Late Show on Tuesday (July 24) and dished about scoring a 2018 Emmy Award nomination in the Lead Actress in a Drama category for her work on Orphan Black.

“I thought we weren’t going to be even remotely in the running because our show missed the Emmy’s last year. I thought people had moved on,” the 32-year-old actress admitted.

“It was actually the opening night of my Off-Broadway play in New York,” Tatiana said about when she found out about the nomination.
