Tess Holliday is opening up about her struggles with an eating disorder.

In an open post on social media, the 35-year-old model revealed that she suffers from anorexia and is currently in recovery.

“I’m anorexic and in recovery. I’m not ashamed to say it out loud anymore,” Tess wrote. “I’m the result of a culture that celebrates thinness and equates that to worth, but I get to write my own narrative now. I’m finally able to care for a body that I’ve punished my entire life and I am finally free.”

She also called out her haters in another post on Instagram, with a targeted message to those who continue to comment about her weight.

Zoe Saldana is all smiles on the red carpet as she attends the grand opening of the Funko Hollywood Store on Thursday evening (November 7) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 41-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy actress looked pretty in a navy cardigan and coordinating skirt as she stepped out for the event.

Demi Lovato takes the stage at the 2019 Teen Vogue Summit!

The 27-year-old “Echame la Culpa” singer stepped out for the event held at Goya Studios on Saturday (November 2) in Los Angeles.

Packed with inspiring talks, workshops, and performances curated by the editors of Teen Vogue, the Teen Vogue Summit is designed to prepare attendees to create change in their communities. More than 1,000 young people participated in the weekend.

“Over the past five years I have changed a lot,” Demi told the crowd at the event. “Like, I have gone through a lot. This is like, really, my first public thing back. So forgive me if I’m a little nervous, but it’s my first time and I haven’t done anything in front of an audience in a while.”

“I wish that I would have known that it is best to live your life without hiding anything,” she added. “I spent so many years trying to put on the role model front rather than being true to myself and being me. Like, I tried to refrain from getting tattoos when I was young because I was afraid that if Disney saw I would get in trouble or something. But really, they just covered it up. It’s not a big deal. It’s just better to be yourself, so if you want to dye your hair purple, dye your hair purple. If you want to love someone of the same sex, love someone of the same sex. Just be yourself.”

On identifying as pansexual: “I’ve been thinking a lot about my relationship to my own queerness, and I think the word pansexual speaks to me more than bi does…I feel like a lot of stuff in my life now makes sense. A lot of the things that I felt when I was younger make sense. A lot of the relationships that I had make sense. I definitely have a sense of relief. I can connect with people on a more intimate level than I was before, because I don’t have to pretend to be someone I’m not.”

On having an abortion after welcoming her second child: “Why is it controversial that I chose to talk about my abortion? And the fact that I got an abortion when I was in a marriage and could have financially supported a child, why did I feel so much shame for that? Why is it controversial to talk about the fact that fat people deserve to take up space and deserve to be sexy?”
