The 30-year-old rapper and model celebrated being named 2021′s Sexiest Woman Alive at the Maxim Hot 100 Event, hosted by MADE special, on Tuesday night (July 13) at The Highlight Room in Los Angeles.

For the event, Teyana lived up to her title by wearing a super sexy black sheer, knit dress.

Stars in attendance included Chris Brown, Offset, and The Hills: New Beginnings star Brandon Lee.

The highly anticipated movie Coming 2 America is now available to watch from the comfort of your own home and the film features so many great new cast members.

Dionne Warwick is ready to turn her life into a project for the small screen!

The 80-year-old music icon took to her Twitter on Wednesday (December 16) to share a video directed to Netflix with a pitch to turn her life into a show.

She also revealed who she would want to play her in this potential project: Teyana Taylor!

“This is a case for @netflix,” Dionne captioned the video, where she asked if people would really watch a series about her life. “Please don’t ask who I would cast to play me as it would obviously be @TEYANATAYLOR.”

The 30-year-old rapper/dancer then responded with “🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾”

Not long after Dionne posted the video, Netflix caught wind of the tweet, responding, “taking ✍️ notes ✍️..”

Dionne then replied to Netflix with “I’ll call ya!”

Over the past several weeks, Dionne has become Twitter’s hottest newest user. On the social media site, Dionne reached out to these two fellow singers so they could all work together soon!

Teyana Taylor is addressing her recent comments about retiring from music.

Earlier this week, the 29-year-old rapper, dancer, and model took to Instagram say that she was feeling “under appreciated” as an artist and that she felt as though she was “being overlooked.”

She ended her message by saying that she was “retiring this chapter of my story,” and many fans took that to believe that she was quitting music.

Now, in a new Instagram Live which was posted on Saturday (December 5), Teyana is clarifying her comments, and opened up about her frustration with her record label G.O.O.D Music/Def Jam.

“The majority of what that post was to warn my label who I’ve been signed to for almost 10 years. Everything that you guys see of me, everything that I put out, everything that I do is 100% me,” Teyana explains. “There’s no gun to anybody’s head to do anything that they don’t want to do. So yes, I am going to feel under appreciated if I’m putting in 110% and my label is giving me — they’re reciprocating, what, 10% of that.”

Teyana then went on to claim that Def Jam has given her “literally no push” over the years, and that she was apparently asked the label to drop her several times.

“The crazy part about it is I asked Def Jam to drop me on almost 10 different occasions, straight to their face, up in the building, at the table,” Teyana added. “Like, ‘Yo, just drop me, because at this point, I can’t let this kill me.’”

Teyana‘s messages comes shortly after she was snubbed from the 2021 Grammy nominations.

Teyana Taylor is getting love and support from her friends and fans.

On Friday (December 4), the 29-year-old singer, dancer, and model shocked fans when she announced that she was retiring from music.

“I ain’t gone front in times of feeling super under appreciated as a artist, receiving little to no real push from the ‘machine’, constantly getting the shorter end of the stick, being overlooked, I mean the list on and on lol,” Teyana wrote on Instagram along with the below post.

“I’m retiring this chapter of my story with the comfort that i can depart with peace of mind seeing that all the hard work & passion put in was indeed loved & supported somewhere in the world! To all my supporters from day 1 & all my new ones I love you and I thank you for everything & don’t worry y’all know 🤎” Teyana continued. “All hustlers have the understanding that when one door closes another will open…either that or I’m pickin da locks petunia!!! So wassup😜🤎😘”

Shortly after making the announcement, Teyana‘s close friend Cardi B took to Twitter to react, while sending her friend some love.

“If you know me then you know Teyana Taylor’s album it’s my favorite of 2020,” Cardi tweeted. “I swear she really got the best album this year.I hate that she feels how she feels cause she sooo talented and the music is soo good.”

Teyana then replied to Cardi, writing, “I appreciate you for always genuinely showing me raw & real love.”

The 29-year-old The Album singer spoke out after the announcement of the nominees on Tuesday (November 24).

“Y’all was better off just saying best MALE R&B ALBUM cause all I see is dick in this category,” she said in response to the Best R&B Album category. The category includes Happy 2 Be Here by Ant Clemons, Take Time by Giveon, To Feel Love/D by Luke James, Bigger Love by John Legend and All Rise by Gregory Porter.

Another musician was snubbed entirely from the ceremony, despite breaking chart records, and now the chief of the Recording Academy is speaking about that decision.
