Bradley Whitford is sharing his thoughts on the Handmaid’s Tale themed party that Kylie Jenner threw for a friend’s birthday the other day.

The 59-year-old actor, who stars on the Hulu series, opened up during an appearance on The Talk on Tuesday (June 11) in Los Angeles.

“Seems a little tacky,” Bradley said. “That costume is so kind of iconic, and it’s interesting how it’s changed from initially a sort of symbol of oppression – to now, as the show is moving ahead to a symbol of resistance. So, yeah, cocktail party seems to sort of dash all that significance.”

Amy Schumer says it’s time for her to stop watching one of her favorite shows.

The 38-year-old comedian and actress took to Instagram on Tuesday (June 4) to share a photo of herself and a sleeping baby Gene saying that she can no longer watch The Handmaid’s Tale.

“Oh ok so I can’t watch handmaids anymore. #filledwithregret,” Amy captioned the below photo while cuddling up with her newborn son.

If you didn’t know, Handmaid’s Tale is about a group of women that are used solely to reproduce.

The first few episodes of season three of The Handmaid’s Tale are available for streaming now on Hulu.

Hulu is debuting the first three episodes of the season at 12:01am ET on Wednesday (June 5).

Elisabeth Moss is back as Offred in The Handmaid’s Tale season three trailer!

Adapted from the classic novel by Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid’s Tale is the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly the United States. Facing environmental disasters and a plunging birthrate, Gilead is ruled by a twisted fundamentalism in its militarized ‘return to traditional values’. As one of the few remaining fertile women, Offred (Moss) is a Handmaid in the Commander’s household, one of the caste of women forced into sexual servitude as a last desperate attempt to repopulate the world. In this terrifying society, Offred must navigate between Commanders, their cruel Wives, domestic Marthas, and her fellow Handmaids – where anyone could be a spy for Gilead – all with one goal: to survive and find the daughter that was taken from her.

Alexis Bledel, Samira Wiley, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, and more also star.

The new season debuts on June 5.

Season three of The Handmaid’s Tale will debut in June with some all-new episodes!

Specifically, three brand new episodes will drop on June 5 on Hulu, THR reports.

The Elisabeth Moss-starrer has previously debuted in April for the past two seasons, so this is a bit of a departure.

There’s some thought that producers purposefully pushed back the season three start date to avoid having to submit for the 2019 Emmy Awards (the cutoff for the Emmys is June 1). Game of Thrones‘ final season will likely be competing for lots of awards during this upcoming Emmys broadcast, and some believe that could be behind the motivation to push back The Handmaid’s Tale.

The Handmaid’s Tale season three is coming soon and a commercial for the show aired during the 2019 Super Bowl.

The inspiration for the commercial was Ronald Reagan‘s “Morning in America” campaign.

“It’s morning again in America. Today, more women will go to work than ever before in our country’s history. This year, dozens of children will be born to happy and healthy families. It’s morning again. It’s morning again,” the voiceover says.

Elisabeth Moss as June then cuts in and says, “Wake up, America. Morning’s over.”

The cast was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and Elisabeth and Joseph were both nominated individually for their performances.
