Christopher Meloni and Elizabeth Reaser have landed roles in The Handmaid’s Tale.

The 57-year-old Law & Order: SVU star will portray Commander Winslow, a “powerful and magnetic Commander who hosts the Waterfords on an important trip.”

Elizabeth will play Commander Winslow’s Wife, Mrs. Winslow, who becomes a friend to Serena (Yvette Strahovski).

Season three of the series will star Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Alexis Bledel, Madeline Brewer, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Samira Wiley, Bradley Whitford, and more.

No season three release date has been set for the show just yet. Stay tuned!

Elisabeth Moss hits the black carpet for the season two finale screening of The Handmaid’s Tale on Monday night (July 9) at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old Emmy-winning actress looked chic in a black pant suit as she was joined at the event by her co-stars Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, and a very pregnant Yvonne Strahovski.

Other cast mates at the screening included Max Minghella, Bradley Whitford, Madeline Brewer, Nina Kiri, and Amanda Brugel.

Season two of The Handmaid’s Tale is streaming on Hulu now.

If you’re watching episode 211 of The Handmaid’s Tale, you’ll likely recognize the voice that comes on the radio!

Yep, that’s Oprah Winfrey speaking, though it’s not exactly clear if she’s playing herself or a character. Oprah is a fan of the show and she even presented Elisabeth Moss with her Emmy at last year’s ceremony.

SPOILER ALERT – The rest of this post contains spoilers from episode 211.

The episode began with June (Moss) stranded at a house in the middle of the woods after getting the chance to spend a few minutes with her daughter. While trying to find a way out, she turns on a car in the garage and Oprah‘s voice can be heard on the radio.

The Handmaid’s Tale is returning for a third season at Hulu!

The second season, which is getting rave reviews, just debuted last week with the streaming service. Hulu says the show has quickly become their most watched on the subscription service, Variety reports.

The show stars Alexis Bledel, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Joseph Fiennes, and Yvonne Strahovski.
