Reese Witherspoon is ready to go to work.

The 44-year-old Big Little Lies actress was spotted arriving on the set of The Morning Show to rehearse scenes before filming on Wednesday (October 28) in Los Angeles.

Reese was seen wearing a large face shield amid the pandemic.

Co-star Billy Crudup was also spotted arriving on the set before filming.

Reese Witherspoon recently opened up about whether she’d run for political office one day. She was a guest on the “SmartLess” podcast, and was asked about her possible political aspirations. Here’s what she had to say!

Steve Carell will be back as on Apple TV+’s The Morning Show.

The 58-year-old actor, who plays Mitch Kessler in the series, will return alongside Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon for the official second season.

Deadline reports that the series is set to restart filming on the show on Monday, October 19.

Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Bel Powley, Karen Pittman and Desean Terry will also return for the show.

Season 2 of The Morning Show is expected to reflect the pandemic, and production was shut down just as the pandemic hit earlier this year.

Mark opened up about the show back in August about the storyline.

“I know that they’re also rewriting, which is crazy because that’s what happened in the first season,” he shared. “They had a whole set of scripts [then] and they rewrote everything to include the #MeToo movement, and now we’ve got other, larger, global phenomenon to deal with. I don’t know what they’re doing but I know they’re rewriting.”

There have been rumors that Jennifer Aniston‘s character on the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show is based on The Today Show‘s Katie Couric… and now she’s sharing her thoughts on the show!

The plot of the series follows the male co-host of a morning show who is accused of sexual misconduct, similar to the way Matt Lauer was when he was a co-host on The Today Show.

Katie, who hosted that morning show with Lauer for many years, opened up about the TV series on the podcast Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino.

Katie said she had “so many thoughts” while watching the show. She added, “I thought some of it was really interesting. I think the long-term impact and the serious devastation that results from certain behaviors was quite well represented, or quite well conveyed in that.”

“I think Jennifer Aniston is great. … I wish they had made her more charismatic because I think you need a certain ebullience to pull off a show like that,” she said about the star’s performance.

Apple and studio Media Res have made the decision to shut down production of Apple TV+’s The Morning Show due to Coronavirus fearss.

“In concert with our dedicated partners at Apple, we have concluded it would be prudent to take a two-week hiatus to assess the situation and ensure the safety of the incredible people who make this show,.” Michael Ellenberg, Founder and CEO of Media Res, told Deadline.

The show is currently filming its second season starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. Apparently, the hiatus will last two weeks.
