Tisha Campbell Had Only $7 To Her Name When She Left Marriage with Duane Martin

Tisha Campbell is opening up about her divorce from Duane Martin.

In a new interview, the 52-year-old OutMatched actress revealed that when she split from Duane in 2018, she didn’t have a lot of money to her name.

“Nothing. No one knows that but I had nothing,” she shared with Entertainment Tonight. “Nothing in the bank. Nothing. I had maybe $7 to my name and I was scared. It was like I was starting all over.”

During their divorce proceedings, Tisha had claimed that Duane had hid money from her during their marriage, among other claims between the two.

Now, Tisha is in a much better place financially.

“The fact that I did raise children who didn’t care about the big mansion that I had or that we had to start over or any of it,” she said, mentioning her two sons Xen and Ezekiel Martin. “Starting over is not always the easiest thing, but it is the necessary thing. It’s a beautiful devastation.”

Tisha also shot it down when asked about another relationship in the future.

“No…I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and I don’t want a relationship so don’t ask me that s*** no more!”

Earlier this year, Tisha made a glam appearance at the Fox All-Star Upfront Party in support of OutMatched, which only lasted one season. The final episode aired in March.
