The Crown has found its prince!

The Netflix show has cast Tobias Menzies to play Prince Philip in the upcoming season, according to Variety.

Tobias takes over for Matt Smith, who played the role for the first two seasons. He will play the part for both Season 3 and 4.

As previously announced, Olivia Colman will take the role of Queen Elizabeth II, previously played by Claire Foy.

Helena Bonham Carter will play the Queen’s sister, Princess Margaret, in place of Vanessa Kirby.

Sam Heughan looks so hot on the cover of Men’s Health South Africa‘s new issue, but his Outlander co-stars can’t help but roast him for it!

Caitriona Balfe and Tobias Menzies sat down with ET Canada this past weekend and were asked their thoughts on the cover.

“I think it’s all makeup,” Caitriona joked.

After Tobias asked, “Is it entirely real though? There’s a thing called Photoshop,” Caitriona spoke up in Sam‘s defense.

“No, that was a lot of hard work,” Caitriona said. “That was all him. He was at the gym every day. When I was working, he was at the gym. Just want to point that out.

“That is a lot of chicken, isn’t it?” Tobias concluded.

Sam responded to the interview with two words: “Chicken makeup.”

The Outlander stars were joined by castmates Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin, as well as showrunner Ronald D. Moore and executive producer Maril Davis, to talk about season three.

Sam Heughan was not able to make it to the event, but he appeared live via satellite!

The longevity of the hit series was brought up and the producers said they will continue making the show as long as Starz will let them, and as long as author Diana Gabaldon has stories to tell, which doesn’t seem to be a problem.

“I cannot imagine a scenario where we catch up with Diana Gabaldon. She will tell us the end of the story,” Moore said (via Variety).

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe join their cast members from Outlander at 2017 Comic-Con on Friday afternoon (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.

The actors, along with Tobias Menzies, Richard Rankin, and Sophie Skelton, appeared at SiriusXM’s Entertainment Weekly Radio broadcast and the IMDb Yacht before their panel.

After the panel, the audience in Ballroom 20 was surprised with a screening of the upcoming season three premiere episode.

Fans who weren’t in attendance will have to be satisfied with three new photos that were released ahead of the September 10 premiere.

“Amazing day @comic_con !!! Thank you all for coming and WATCHING ep1!!!! So excited.x,” Sam captioned the below photo on Instagram.

Earlier in the day, the co-stars were joined by fellow castmate Tobias Menzies for an AOL Build panel.

Sam recently chatted with Elle about everything from losing his virginity to wearing a modesty pouch on Outlander.

“I think everyone’s first time is pretty uneventful,” Sam said about his first time. “You build it up, but it’s just a moment in time, and I certainly think as you get older it gets easier and you learn a lot more about yourself as well. So I guess what I would say if I could go back in time is, Don’t worry about it.”

Sam said that wearing a modesty pouch is “quite complicated. You’ve got to do a lot of tying and untying. It’s like a sock, but you’ve got to tie it on and you want it to be pretty tight. To be honest, the tighter it is, the better. It reduces any chances of enjoying yourself too much.”

Sam recently opened up to Vanity Fair about the celebrity fan of the show that surprised him the most.

“I had dinner with William Shatner last week and I couldn’t believe it. He’s a fan of the show,” Sam said. “He’s really funny, and I owe him dinner now. I still can’t believe I met him!”
