Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black have been together for eight years and they are celebrating their anniversary with sweet posts on social media!

The couple has been together since March 2013, when they met at a dinner party. They didn’t go public with their relationship until later that year and we posted the first photos of them together at the time.

Tom, 26, and Dustin, 46, got married in 2017 and they welcomed their son Robbie into the world in June 2018.

Tom wrote on Instagram, “8 YEARS ❤️. 8 years ago we met at a dinner, we lived on opposite sides of the pond and thought it was going to be impossible to make it work…but we did! I am so grateful for all the memories, nearly 4 years of marriage and our darling son, Robbie! I love you xxx.”

Dustin posted on his page, “8 YEARS of adventures, blurry naps, endless nights, sore faces from smiling, laughing, exhaustion from night feeds, baby tears. A family. Thank you for every minute of it, my warrior monkey prince. 🐸❤️🐵”

The 24-year-old British Olympic diver and the 44-year-old Oscar-winning screenwriter, who got married last year, were joined at the event by Ellie Goulding, Rob Lowe, Paloma Faith, Arizona Muse, Stella McCartney and Daisy Lowe.

“❄️ Vanity Fair X Bloomberg Climate Change Dinner,” Tom captioned with his Instagram post. “Thanks for an amazing evening, filled with discussions of how we can best help save our wonderful planet 🌎❤️”

“Date night for our planet,” Dustin added with his own post. “Big thanks to @vanityfair and @mikebloomberg for taking a stand to protect the health of that most valuable thing we leave our children: our Earthly home. #SeriousFace”

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black are still going strong!

The 24-year-old British Olympic diver and the 44-year-old Oscar-winning screenwriter, who got married last year, had themselves a date night at the VIP press night performance of Swan Lake held at the Sadlers Wells Theatre on Sunday (December 9) in London, England.

The 32-year-old Game of Thrones star and the 39-year-old Beauty and the Beast actor walked with the 63-year-old fashion designer at the event held at the Tate Modern on Wednesday (September 5) in London, England.

They were joined by Jeff Goldblum, Daniel Kaluuya, Tom Daley, and his husband Dustin Lance Black.

Tom Daley is featured in this week’s Pride issue of ShortList, on newsstands today.

Here’s what the 24-year-old diver – and new dad – had to share with the mag:

On his biggest concern coming out: “My biggest concern when I came out was: what would the parents of young divers think? Would they discourage their kids from diving because a high-profile athlete like me was gay? I was so worried.”

On competing in countries where being gay is punishible: “It can be scary going to countries that aren’t accepting of LGBTQ+ people. I’ve competed in the Middle East, Russia, and parts of the Commonwealth, where being gay is punishable. I feel extremely lucky being able to compete as I am without worrying about ramifications.”

On why husband Dustin Lance Black is banned from Russia: “My husband [screenwriter and director Dustin Lance Black] is blacklisted from Russia. He did a big protest there with a massive rainbow flag, and after he screened his film Milk he started getting threats and attacks. So he’s not allowed back.”

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black are dads!

The 24-year-old British Olympic diver and the 44-year-old Oscar-winning screenwriter, who got married last year, welcomed their first child into the world on Wednesday (June 27).

“Welcome to the world little Robbie Ray. Thank you for bringing so much love and light with you. And thank you to those who helped make our dream of having a family into this wonderful reality,” Dustin wrote on his Instagram page.

“27/06/18 • Welcome to the world our precious little Robbie Ray Black-Daley ❤️,” Tom added on his page. “The most magical moment of my life. The amount of love and joy you have brought into our life is immeasurable. Our precious son. ❤️👶🏼❤️”

The couple’s son was named after Tom‘s late father Robert Daley.

The 23-year-old Olympic diver and the 43-year-old Oscar-winning screenplay writer were thrown a surprise baby shower on Saturday afternoon (April 21) by their family and friends in London.

Tom gave a sneak peek inside the shower on his Instagram including a selfie with Lance while wearing “Oh Baby” glasses and “Daddy to be” sashes around their chests.

Back on Valentine’s Day, the couple announced that they are expecting a son later this year.
