Alyssa Milano & Tony Danza To Reunite with 'Who's The Boss?' Reboot Series

Who’s The Boss is getting a revival series!

Alyssa Milano and Tony Danza are set to reunite and star in a sequel series to the original 1980s show that they starred in as father and daughter duo Tony and Samantha Micelli.

Deadline reports that the sequel is in development at Sony Pictures Television and will take place 30 years after the original series.

The new show will now be about Samantha, who is a single mom living in the same house.

The sire also reports that Judith Light and Danny Pintauro, who played Angela and Jonathan on the show, are supportive of the revival and there is hope that their characters could find a way to bring them back as well.

Alyssa and Tony will also serve as executive producers, alongside Norman Lear.

If you missed it, this old game show is also getting the reboot treatment.

Renee Zellweger and Adam Sandler accept the awards for Best Actress and Best Actor for their roles in Judy and Uncut Gems, respectively, at the 2020 AARP Movies for Grownups Awards on Saturday night (January 11) at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Laura Dern was also honored for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Marriage Story – and she received the award from mom Diane Ladd!

and Don Johnson were on hand to accept the award for Best Ensemble for their movie Knives Out, Noah Baumbach was honored with Best Screenwriter for Marriage Story, The Farewell‘s Zhao Shuzhen and Tzi Ma accepted the award for Best Intergenerational Film, and Martin Scorsese was honored with the Best Director Award.

Martin was also joined on stage by Robert De Niro when they accepted the award for Best Picture/Best Movie for Grownups for The Irishman.

Annette Bening was supported at the awards show by husband Warren Beatty where she was honored with the Career Achievement award.

Other stars at the event included Adam‘s wife Jackie, Billy Crudup, Alan Alda, Juliette Lewis, Tony Danza, Conan O’Brien, and Finn Wittrock.

Tamron Hall Debuts Baby Bump at ADAPT Leadership Awards 2019!

“First event with bump!”

Tamron Hall happily showed off her growing baby bump while hitting the red carpet at the 2019 ADAPT Leadership Awards held at the Cipriani 42nd Street on Thursday evening (March 14) in New York City.

“3 days ago this fit. Bump waits on no one or any fashion,” the pregnant former Today show host captioned with her Instagram post. “First event with bump. @tenelleveira on face @johnnywright220 on hair and someone needs to be on invisible tape before I leave lol. #babyonboard A FEW MORE WEEKS TO GO!!!”

Tamron was also joined at the event by Susan Lucci, David Muir, Tony Danza and her former Today show co-host Al Roker and his wife Deborah Roberts, who were the gala’s honorary co-chairs, while Hall was honored for her leadership work by the ADAPT Community Network, which helps individuals and families living with challenges such as autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome and neuromuscular disorders.

Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano are remembering their late co-star Katherine Helmond.

Katherine‘s former Who’s the Boss co-stars shared sweet messages in remembrance of the late star after it was announced that she had passed away last month from complications from Alzheimer’s disease.

“Katherine Helmond has passed away. My beautiful, kind, funny, gracious, compassionate, rock. You were an instrumental part of my life,” Alyssa tweeted along with several photos of Katherine. “You taught me to hold my head above the marsh! You taught me to do anything for a laugh! What an example you were! Rest In Peace, Katherine.”

“I was in love with her. She was such an influence on me. From being a single guy with a hit show in Hollywood, though my marriage and having kids — she was with me,” Tony told Deadline. “No matter what problem I had, I could go to her. Very few people could match her.”

Fellow Who’s the Boss? cast mate Judith Light also shared a message about Katherine saying, ““Katherine Helmond was a remarkable human being and an extraordinary artist; generous, gracious, charming and profoundly funny. She taught me so much about life and inspired me indelibly by watching her work. Katherine was a gift to our business and to the world, and will be deeply missed.”

Josh Groban & Tony Danza's 'Good Cop' Canceled at Netflix

Josh Groban and Tony Danza‘s The Good Cop will not be returning for a second season on Netflix.

The Good Cop will not return for a second season. We’re grateful to creator Andy Breckman and his fellow producers, writers, the incredible crew and especially stars Tony Danza and Josh Groban for bringing this classic odd couple father-son story to Netflix,” the streaming service said in a statement (via THR).

The show dropped all ten episodes of the first season on September 21. They’re still available to stream now.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Kaley Cuoco have a great time chatting with people on the phone while attending the Annual Charity Day hosted by Cantor Fitzgerald, BGC, and GFI on Monday (September 11) in New York City.

The event is held every year on or around 9/11 to commemorate the day of the World Trade Center attacks. 658 Cantor Fitzgerald employees, approximately 68% of the company’s workforce, died in the attacks on 9/11.
