Andrew Rannells and Tuc Watkins are enjoying a night out during Pride Month!

Andrew, 42, and Tuc, 54, made a dashing duo as they arrived at the Portraits of Pride event hosted by Los Angeles Confidential magazine on Wednesday evening (June 9) in Los Angeles.

If you didn’t know, Andrew and Tuc have been dating for a few years after starring in the 2018 Broadway show The Boys in the Band. They also appeared together in the Netflix film adaption of the play, and star together in the Showtime series Black Monday.

Since they started dating, Andrew has become very close with Tuc‘s children, 8-year-old twins Catchen and Curtis. A few years ago, Andrew and Tuc shared a bunch of photos from a day at the beach with the kids!

Andrew Rannells and Tuc Watkins are getting in some exercise!

The 42-year-old The Prom actor and the 54-year-old Desperate Housewives actor went for a run around the neighborhood on Saturday afternoon (March 20) in Los Angeles.

Andrew showed off his muscles in a sleeveless white shirt while Tuc showed off his toned legs in a pair of tiny, gray shorts for their run.

If you didn’t know, Andrew and Tuc have been dating for a few years after starring in the 2018 Broadway show The Boys in the Band.

They reprised their roles for the film adaption of the Broadway show which was released on Netflix last year. They also appear together on the Showtime dark comedy series Black Monday.

Andrew Rannells stars in the new Netflix movie The Boys in the Band alongside his real-life boyfriend Tuc Watkins and he’s opening up about how they fell in love while working together!

The two actors previously starred in the Broadway production of The Boys in the Band in 2018 and they reprised their roles for the movie.

“It’s called a show-mance. It’s when you fall in love during a show,” Andrew said while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show. “We met and I felt like such a lazy actor that I fell in love with my co-star. I was like this is so cliché.”

He added, “Also have you seen him? He’s very attractive. What was I supposed to do? Not date him? It was strange. Like the first time we kissed it was for work… but it was weird, it was like, Oh we are getting paid to do this.”

Ryan Murphy has produced the movie version of the Broadway play, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play last year.

Here’s a synopsis: In 1968 New York City – when being gay was still considered to be best kept behind closed doors – a group of friends gather for a raucous birthday party hosted by Michael (Jim Parsons), a screenwriter who spends and drinks too much, in honor of the sharp-dressed and sharp-tongued Harold (Zachary Quinto). Other partygoers include Donald (Matt Bomer), Michael’s former flame, now mired in self-analysis; Larry (Andrew Rannells), a randy commercial artist living with Hank (Tuc Watkins), a school teacher who has just left his wife; Bernard (Michael Benjamin Washington), a librarian tiptoeing around fraught codes of friendship alongside Emory (Robin de Jesús), a decorator who never holds back; and a guileless hustler (Charlie Carver), hired to be Harold’s gift for the night. What begins as an evening of drinks and laughs gets upended when Alan (Brian Hutchison), Michael’s straight-laced college roommate, shows up unexpectedly and each man is challenged to confront long-buried truths that threaten the foundation of the group’s tight bond.

First look photos for the upcoming film adaptation of the Tony-winning revival of The Boys in the Band have been revealed!

The entire original cast of the Broadway revival – Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer, Andrew Rannells, Charlie Carver, Robin de Jesús, Brian Hutchison, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins – is reprising their roles in the Netflix movie, which will be released on September 30.

The story follows a group of gay men who gather for a birthday party in 1968 New York City, only to find the drinks and laughs interrupted when a visitor from the host’s past turns the evening upside down.

The Boys in the Band, which was written by Mart Crowley, was an unexpected smash hit when it premiered on Broadway over fifty years ago.

The hunky actors have been dating since last year and they have worked together multiple times already. Andrew, 41, and Tuc, 53, met while doing the Broadway play The Boys in the Band and recently filmed the movie version. Now, they’re starring on Showtime’s Black Monday together.

Andrew Rannells and Tuc Watkins are in the festive spirit!

The 41-year-old and 53-year-old actors posted their pictures from their Christmas celebration (December 25) on their Instagrams.

“I hope everyone’s Christmas was as wonderful as mine. Presents were opened, songs were sung, my boyfriend wore a kilt… it was perfect. 😊” Andrew wrote on his Instagram.

“CH🎁ISTM🎅🏽S!!!” Tuc wrote.

If you didn’t know, the two met while starring in the Broadway play The Boys in the Band and they recently filmed the movie version, which will premiere on Netflix.

Tuc had twins Catchen and Curtis via a surrogate in December of 2012.
