Tyra Banks is reacting to the recent changes at Victoria’s Secret.
It was announced Thursday (June 17) that the lingerie brand would be phasing out Victoria’s Secret Angels and replacing them with the “VS Collective” as an effort to reinvent beauty standards for women.
Tyra, who was one of the most famous Victoria’s Secret Angels, took to social media on Friday (June 18) to react to the news.

Naomi Campbell posted an article to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (November 17) that had fans talking!
The 50-year-old supermodel posted to her nearly 10 million followers, an article that reads, “Here’s Why Fans Are Starting To Think Tyra Banks Is The Real Mean Girl, Not Naomi Campbell.”
The post has since been deleted from Naomi‘s account, but not before fans took screen grabs and shared on social media.
Tyra and Naomi go way back as they were both fashion models decades ago in Paris. Rumors about their feud have been rampant for years.
“I’m very sensitive to that word because a rivalry is with two equals to me, whereas one was very dominant,” Tyra once said when asked about their issues.. “She was a supermodel and I was just some new girl that got on a plane from Paris and was studying fashion in magazines at a fashion library.”

Tyra Banks is hitting back at some claims.
The Dancing With the Stars host responded to accusations that she is opposed to having Real Housewives cast members on the hit dancing show in a statement on Friday (October 23).

The statement came after former Real Housewives star Bethenny Frankel alleged in a now-deleted tweet that Tyra “clumped me in her no more housewives mandate on @DancingABC.”
Tyra‘s Elana Rose said in a statement to Page Six that the claim was “100 percent untrue.”
“She’s a huge fan of the Housewives and everyone knows Tyra is a businesswoman first. As a businesswoman, why would she say anything against the ‘Housewives‘? She has nothing to do with casting.”
She also said Tyra “loves Andy [Cohen]” and has “been on Watch What Happens Live several times, and that she “just tried to get one of her really good friends on the Housewives! She watches the shows. She loves them.”
“I deleted that last post Bc I really like & have a great relationship with Deena Katz from #DWTS. If @tyrabanks wants to come on my podcast, she is welcome anytime as she has built a successful brand on her own in her own way. #justbwithbethenny,” Bethenny later wrote.
Bethenny also just addressed possibly returning to the franchise.

Tyra Banks has some exciting news!
The 46-year-old Dancing With the Stars host made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Wednesday (October 7).

During the interview, Tyra revealed she’s in talks to reboot Coyote Ugly.
“I literally was supposed to be on a conference call today about bringing Coyote Ugly back,” she dished. She also said she’s planning to talk to Maria Bello, who played Lil, about the details.
“We were supposed to be on a call today, and I’m talking to you and I can’t talk to them. Yes, we are talking about trying to do Coyote Ugly 2 or a series.”
She also talked about her audition for the movie.
“For my audition for Coyote Ugly, they asked me what song I wanted to play. I was like, ‘OK, I’ll take Prince‘s ‘Kiss.” … They push play. I’m in this huge hotel room, all these casting people lined up looking at me. And I’m dancing. I’m head whipping,” she explained.
“The whole song I ended up dancing. Then after I’m out of breath, and then they all just started laughing. They’re like, ‘We are so sorry, but we were enjoying that so much, we kept the music going,’” she said.
Coyote Ugly made $113 million at the box office 20 years ago in 2000.
The movie followed Violet Sanford (Piper Perabo), who moved to New York to pursue singing and started working at the bar, Coyote Ugly, to make money. The real Coyote Ugly Saloon was founded in NYC in 1993 by Liliana “Lil” Lovell.
“I feel like I do have the dance moves, as long as no one choreographs me and tells me exactly how to dance. I’m kind of tempted to ask [Derek Hough] to choreograph like 16 counts for me to see if I can do it,” Tyra said of whether she still had the moves.

The one-of-a-kind Halloween experience was reimagined as a contactless drive-thru trail filled with thousands of hand-carved Jack O’ Lanterns, creating a safe environment for families to still enjoy.
Nights of the Jack will be open to the public from October 1 through November 1.

In a recent interview, Tyra opened up about her new duties as host and executive producer of Dancing With The Stars, revealing that she actually cut most of her new ideas for the show out because of the fans.
“Dancing with the Stars is one of the biggest shows on TV, with a huge audience, and I really respect that,” she shared with People. “I can’t come in with a battering ram and try to change everything. That would be a bad business decision and dumb leadership. So I’m not doing that.”
Tyra added, “I listened to research, I listened to the fans, I killed half of my ideas and then I doubled down on some of them. We want to implement those ideas but still respect the show — and add a little pixie dust!”

Tyra Banks is the new host of Dancing With the Stars for season 29 and she just made her big debut on the show!
The 46-year-old former America’s Next Top Model host made a grand entrance in a red gown during the season premiere on Monday (September 14) at the studio in Los Angeles.
Because of the pandemic, there is no studio audience this season and fans aren’t happy with the fake sound effects that are being used to make it feel like there’s an audience there.
After Tyra left the stage following her intro for the show, she showed up minutes later in a pink suit. She jokingly said that she wouldn’t be able to host the entire evening in that gown!
