Vampire Diaries' Paul Wesley & Matthew Davis Go Back & Forth on Twitter During Debate

“Alaric” was trending after the Vice Presidential debate and is seems to be because of a Twitter back and forth between Vampire Diaries co-stars Paul Wesley and Matthew Davis (who played Alaric Saltzman on The CW show.

It all started when Matthew tweeted, “It’d be nice if the moderator would stop interrupting Pence and let him finish his point.”

Paul responded directly, writing, “It would also be nice if pence answered the question he was originally asked rather than deflecting.”

Matthew quote tweeted that post and added, “Paul likes to vote for criminals and losers, just like he did in 2016. Your opinion on the matter carries little weight as far as I’m concerned. Next.” Paul then quickly clarified, “You’re mistaken! I didn’t vote for trump in 2016.”

Paul then wrote, “Alaric drank some vervain he’s losing it.” Vervain is an herb from the show that would weaken vampires.

Nina Dobrev's Answer to This 'Vampire Diaries' Question Is Getting Fan Attention!

Nina Dobrev‘s comment asking her a The Vampire Diaries question is going viral and fans are loving it.

It all started when E! News posted an Instagram photo featuring Nina‘s former co-stars Ian Somerhalder, who she once dated, and Paul Wesley.

E! captioned the photo, “POV: You’re Elena on #TheVampireDiaries. Who are you choosing?”

They then tagged Nina and asked her to weigh in directly on the debate.

Nina posted a comment in the replies, and fans couldn’t help but love it. Responses included, “LMAO POP OFF,” “that’s what we call an unbothered queen,” and laughing face emojis.

Paul saw Nina‘s comment and playfully responded.

Fans of the beloved series The Vampire Diaries are going to love the latest tweets from the show’s stars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley!

It all started after someone on Twitter shared a video of her teenage daughter crying hysterically after watching the death of Paul‘s character Stefan Salvatore.

“I felt the same way kiddo! But then I realized oh wait, I just saw him yesterday… He’s still alive;) XO Damon,” Ian tweeted in response to the video.

Paul replied to Ian‘s tweet just minutes later and said, “You cried then as well but for the opposite reason.”

It has been over three years since the series finale of The Vampire Diaries aired and you can watch all of the episodes now on Netflix.

Ian recently said he wants a role in the next film in this popular franchise!

Nina Dobrev Opens Up About Life After 'Vampire Diaries' - Watch Now!

Nina Dobrev is opening up about her post-Vampire Diaries experience.

The 30-year-old actress made an appearance on Build Series on Thursday morning (February 28) in New York City.

During her appearance, Nina talked about her new CBS comedy Fam, which follows Clem (Dobrev), a woman whose vision of a perfect life with her adoring fiancé and his wonderful family is radically altered when her 16-year-old, out-of-control half-sister unexpectedly comes to live with her. As the family Clem chose and the family she has blend, Clem realizes that this happy fam may be the perfection she’s been seeking.

She also opened up about doing comedy, working with Odessa Adlon, Tone Bell and the rest of sitcom cast, as well as life after Vampire Diaries and how she feels about her fans, social media and body image.

Ian Somerhalder Reunites with 'Vampire Diaries' Family in Paris

Ian Somerhalder steps out of his hotel on Sunday (April 29) in Paris, France.

The 39-year-old actor was in town for the Blood Lust Convention and he reunited with members of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals cast.

Ian was joined by Candice King, Nathaniel Buzolic, Chase Coleman, and Riley Voelkel. Some of the other cast members in town who are not pictured include Paul Wesley and Daniel Gillies.

Ian will be back to his vampire roots with a new vampire series on Netflix, which was just announced!

Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley reunited over the weekend and fans are loving it!

The stars of The Vampire Diaries were both in attendance at The Vampire Diaries and The Originals Official Convention in Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend. Paul posted the photo to his Instagram Story with the caption, “Reunion.” The photo was uploaded on Saturday (February 10).

The Vampire Diaries officially wrapped in March of last year after eight seasons on The CW.
