Vanessa Kirby is the lady in red while attending the premiere of her movie Pieces of a Woman during the 2020 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 5) in Venice, Italy.

The 32-year-old actress also attended a photo call earlier in the day while wearing a black dress.

Vanessa, who is best known for her work in the Netflix series The Crown and the movies Hobbs & Shaw and Mission: Impossible – Fallout, is getting rave reviews for her work in this new film.

Here’s the movie’s synopsis: Martha (Kirby) and Sean Carson (Shia LaBeouf) are a Boston couple on the verge of parenthood whose lives change irrevocably during a home birth at the hands of a flustered midwife, who faces charges of criminal negligence. Thus begins a year-long odyssey for Martha, who must navigate her grief while working through fractious relationships with her husband and her domineering mother, along with the publicly vilified midwife whom she must face in court.

Variety says that Vanessa “delivers her most impressive screen performance to date” in the movie. TheWrap says she gives a “towering and heartbreaking performance.”

Vanessa Kirby‘s Alanna Mitsopolis is coming back for more Mission: Impossible.

The 31-year-old actress confirmed her return in a new interview with Glamour Magazine UK, where she opened up about looking forward to training for the new movies.

“I am looking forward to this Mission training because it means you eat well and work out which I haven’t been doing for that entire shoot,” Vanessa shared, speaking of the previous movie she was working on.

Vanessa starred as Alanna, aka White Widow, who in Fallout, is an arms dealer who helped out Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise).

She’ll be back for Mission: Impossible 7 and 8.

Olivia Colman and Vanessa Kirby hit the red carpet in their gorgeous looks at the 2020 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 2) at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

The two stars, who both starred on The Crown, arrived at the show alongside another Crown star, Gillian Anderson.

Shia LaBeouf has lined up his next movie role!

The 33-year-old Honey boy actor will star in the upcoming drama Pieces of a Woman with Vanessa Kirby, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie directed by Kornél Mundruczó follows “a home birth gone tragically awry as a grieving woman tries to come to terms with her loss while also dealing with the ramifications in her relationships with her husband and estranged mother.”

Production for Pieces of a Woman is set to begin in December in Montreal.

The new movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is topping the box office this weekend and one thing that fans can’t stop talking about is the age difference between co-stars Vanessa Kirby and Jason Statham.

Vanessa was introduced to the franchise as Hattie Shaw, the sister of Jason‘s character Deckard Shaw. In real life, she is 31 years old and he is 52.

There are plenty of siblings in the world who have a 21-year age gap, but the problem in this movie is that there are flashback scenes where the two characters are seen as children together. If they have a two decade gap in age, there’s no way they were children at the same time!

Vanessa Kirby stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (August 1) and admitted she never imagined herself in an action movie like Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw!

“That’s mad. I don’t feel like [an action star],” the 31-year-old actress told Jimmy.

“If anyone would have said to me, ‘you’re going to be in action movies,’ I would’ve not believed them,” Vanessa continued. “You know in like running races? I always the kid that was always last, like really huffing and puffing in the back – really wheezing.”

Vanessa Kirby also shared how she found her “stolen” rental car after it went missing for two days and uses Jimmy to demonstrate some of her fight moves she picked up filming Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

Last month, Vanessa hit the red carpet alongside co-star Helen Mirren at the big London premiere of Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw.

Jason Statham is dapper in a suit as he hits the red carpet at the special premiere screening of his anticipated film Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw held at The Curzon Mayfair on Tuesday (July 23) in London, England.

The 51-year-old actor was joined at the big event by his co-stars Idris Elba, Helen Mirren and Vanessa Kirby, as well as writer Chris Morgan and director of the film, David Leitch.

Jason Statham‘s partner-in-action Dwayne Johnson was not present at the London premiere, but made sure to attend the Hollywood premiere earlier this month in support of the film.
