Vanessa Paradis is the latest person to come to the defense of Johnny Depp amid what she calls allegedly “outrageous” domestic abuse allegations from his estranged wife Amber Heard.

The 43-year-old French actress reportedly penned a letter (obtained by TMZ) about her “sensitive, loving and loved” former partner of 14 years, with whom she has two children – Lily-Rose, 17, and Jack, 14.

“In all these years I have known Johnny he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years,” Vanessa allegedly wrote.

She and Johnny were together from 1998 to 2012 before he married Amber in 2015.

In case you missed it, Lily-Rose also came to her father’s defense via Instagram.

Kirsten Dunst arrives on the red carpet for the closing ceremony of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 22) at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

The 34-year-old actress was joined by her fellow jury member Vanessa Paradis as they concluded the year’s festival.

Also joining the ladies on the red carpet were jurors Donald Sutherland, George Miller, Valeria Golino, Katayoon Shahabi, Arnaud Desplechin, Laszlo Nemes and Mads Mikkelsen.

Kirsten Dunst and Vanessa Paradis walk the carpet at amfAR’s 2016 Cinema Against AIDS Gala held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 19) in Cap d’Antibes, France.

The ladies are both jurors during the Cannes Film Festival this month. Other attendees at the event included race car driver Lewis Hamilton, Muse singer Matthew Bellamy and his girlfriend Elle Evans, Paris Hilton and her brother Barron, and former Dancing With the Stars contestant Mischa Barton with movie producer Mohammed Al Turki.

Kirsten Dunst steps out in style for the Kering and Cannes Film Festival Official Dinner held at Place de la Castre on Sunday (May 15) in Cannes, France.

Also in attendance at the event were Freida Pinto, Salma Hayek with husband Francois-Henri Pinault, Susan Sarandon, Geena Davis, Juliette Binoche, Vanessa Paradis, and Gael Garcia Bernal.

“Best night with the most inspiring women,” Kirsten wrote on her Instagram account.

Marion Cotillard is a golden beauty while attending the premiere for her new film From The Land Of The Moon held during the 2016 Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals on Sunday (May 15) in Cannes, France.

The 40-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Alex Brendemühl and Louis Garrel, as well as Vanessa Paradis, Pixie Lott, and Oliver Cheshire.

Earlier in the day, the cast stepped out for the photo call.

The film is an adaptation of Milena Agus‘ novel set after WWII, which follows the destiny of a passionate, free-spirited woman who is in a loveless marriage and falls for another man.
