Hulu Drops Trailer for 'Bad Hair,' a Horror Satire Starring Elle Lorraine!

A new trailer that is getting so much buzz is the upcoming Hulu movie Bad Hair!

The film is a horror satire set in 1989 and it follows an ambitious young woman (Elle Lorraine) who gets a weave in order to succeed in the image-obsessed world of music television. However, her flourishing career comes at a great cost when she realizes that her new hair may have a mind of its own.

The star-studded cast also includes Vanessa Williams, Lena Waithe, Laverne Cox, Jay Pharoah, Kelly Rowland, Blair Underwood, James Van Der Beek, Yaani King Mondschein, and Usher.

Bad Hair was written and directed by Justin Simien, who previously wrote and directed the movie Dear White People and the TV series of the same name.

The movie will be released on Hulu on October 23.

America Ferrera Reacts to 'Ugly Betty' Creator Silvio Horta's Death

America Ferrera is speaking out following the death of Ugly Betty creator Silvio Horta.

Silvio died by apparent suicide at the age of 45 on Tuesday (January 7).

“I’m stunned and heartbroken to hear the devastating news of Ugly Betty creator, Silvio Horta’s death,” the 35-year-old Ugly Betty actress wrote on Instagram. “His talent and creativity brought me and so many others such joy & light.”

America Ferrera added, “I’m thinking of his family and loved ones who must be in so much pain right now- and of the whole Ugly Betty family who feel this loss so deeply.”

Her co-star Michael Urie tweeted, “I will be forever indebted to this sweet, brilliant man. 💔,” while star Vanessa Williams shared, “Still in shock after hearing the tragic news of our #uglybetty creator #silviohorta 💔 His creativity and passion will be missed by so many of us that worked with him. May he Rest In Peace.”

Star Christopher Gorham also said, “Silvio Horta gave me two of the greatest opportunities in my career with Jake 2.0 and Ugly Betty. I will be forever grateful for his creativity, his enormous heart, and his friendship. His family was his world and my heart goes out to them tonight. Let’s all take care of each other.”

Vanessa Williams just revealed what her former Desperate Housewives co-star Felicity Huffman texted her after the college admissions scandal broke.

“I was terrified for [Huffman] when I heard that the feds came with guns drawn in the morning to take her down,” Vanessa told Us Weekly. “My phone blew up. I did text her. I just said, ‘Wishing you love and protection.’ And she just said, ‘Thank you, my dear friend. That’s what I need.’ And that’s all you can do as a friend.”

Felicity has already admitted guilt and broke her silence a few weeks ago.
