FX Series 'Baskets' Will End After Season 4 Finale

Baskets is sadly ending.

The FX series will conclude with its August 22 Season 4 finale, the network confirmed in a statement on Wednesday (July 31).

“Over four seasons, Baskets has taken its place among the great FX comedies as an endearing and hilarious look at the dreams and ambition of Chip Baskets and his extended, loving family. This show has been a joy for everyone at FX and we are grateful to Jonathan Krisel, Zach Galifianakis, Louie Anderson, Martha Kelly and the rest of the cast and crew for giving us the gem that is Baskets,” said FX exec Eric Schrier.

The series followed Zach as twin brothers Chip and Dale Baskets. Chip trained to be a clown at a prestigious clowning academy in Paris but is only able to find work as a rodeo clown in Bakersfield, Calif.

Louie also won an Emmy in 2016 for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Christine Baskets.

Zach Galifianakis Once Stole Justin Bieber's Underwear

Zach Galifianakis revealed he stole a pair of Justin Bieber‘s underwear after the pair filmed a 2013 episode of “Between Two Ferns.”

In the segment years ago, Zach ended up getting slimed at the very end of the clip. During a recent appearance on David Letterman‘s new Netflix show, Zach explained what happened.

“I had to change clothes … I got into his trailer to get this [slime] off of me. I didn’t have any underwear so I see a pair of underwear in the corner. I needed a pair of underwear … I put ’em on,” Zach explained. “Then I started thinking about it. [On] a lot of levels it’s wrong.”

“I took the underwear,” he confessed. “Years pass, and I had taken the underwear with me … because I have nieces.”

“So, we walk up to my bedroom, my sister and my niece, and we go up, and I’m like, ‘Hey, I’ve been saving these for you.’ And the look on my niece’s face … She did not accept it. I tried — she was not into it at all,” Zach added.

Zach Galifianakis & Stephen Colbert Fight Over Barbecue Sauce?!

Zach Galifianakis made an appearance on The Late Show on Monday (April 8) and got into a heated discussion about barbecue sauce from his native North Carolina and South Carolina, which is Stephen Colbert‘s native.

“I’m more proud of being from North Carolina than you should be from being from South Carolina,” the 49-year-old actor expressed, after which Colbert unleashed some fighting words of his own. “I love everything about North Carolina other than that damn vinegar stuff that y’all put on the barbecue.”

“You’ve got perfectly fine dry-rub smoked barbecue, and then you come in there and just piss all over it with vinegar. What are you doing?!,” Stephen continued.

After briefly discussing their states’ respective vinegar-and mustard-based sauces, Zach calls for peace. “We can be different, Stephen,” he says. “We don’t have to build a wall between us.”

Zach also talked about his new animated film Missing Link, which hits theaters on April 12.
