Ziyi Zhang has welcomed her first child with her rocker husband Wang Feng!

The 36-year-old Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon actress gave birth on Sunday (December 27) and she announced the news on Chinese social media website Weibo.

“You, me, her … With the birth of this little life, we have our own family. Everything went safely and smoothly. Infinite gratitude!” Ziyi wrote in Mandarin on the website.

“The dust settles, spring begins and flowers bloom,” Wang, who has two children from previous marriages, wrote on his page.

Congratulations to the happy couple on the exciting news!

Ziyi Zhang looks classic in white at the 2015 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City.

The 36-year-old actress and model was joined on the red carpet by Liu Wen, Fei Fei Sun, and Fan Bingbing.

After the big bash, Liu and Fei Fei made their way to the Michael Kors and iTunes After Party at The Mark Hotel.

FYI: Ziyi is wearing Carolina Herrera with Cindy Chao jewels. Liu, Fei Fei, and Fan are all wearing Michael Kors to the Met Ball. Fei Fei is also wearing Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

The 35-year-old Chinese actress recently took home the Best Actress award at the 2014 Chinese Film Media Awards for her performance as a kung fu master in The Grandmaster.
