Zoe Kazan strikes a pose with her husband Paul Dano backstage at the screening of The Ballad of Buster Scruggs held during the 2018 AFI Gala on Sunday (November 11) in Hollywood.

The 35-year-old actress was also accompanied by her friend Grace Gummer, as well as co-stars Saul Rubinek, Stephen Root, Chelcie Ross, Tim Blake Nelson, Grainger Hines, Bill Heck and directors Joel and Ethan Coen.

The screening went on as scheduled despite Netflix axing the red carpet portion, following the horrific shooting at Borderline Bar and in light of the ongoing California wildfires, which continue to rage in Ventura and Los Angeles counties.

“‘Our hearts are with the victims and families of the Borderline shooting and of the California Wildfires.’ As a native Californian, I could not agree more with Netflix’s decision here,” Zoe tweeted.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Paul Dano share a cute moment on the carpet at the 2018 Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards presented by Los Angeles Confidential Magazine on Sunday night (November 4) in Los Angeles.

Jake was at the event to present the Breakthrough Director Award to Paul for his work on their movie Wildlife.

Paul‘s longtime partner Zoe Kazan, who co-wrote the screenplay for Wildlife with him, also attended the event.

The awards show pays tribute to the behind-the-scenes talent that contribute to the quality of a motion picture.

The 37-year-old Southpaw actor and the 40-year-old The Deuce actress teamed up for the event held at Metrograph on Monday (October 29) in New York City.

They were also joined by moderator Ashleigh Banfield as well as Paul Dano, Zoe Kazan, Jim Parrack, and Christopher Lloyd.

In the movie, a kindergarten teacher in New York becomes obsessed with one of her students whom she believes is a child prodigy.

Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan are now parents!

The 34-year-old actor confirmed the news during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (October 24).

The two, who have been together for 11 years, welcomed their baby girl eight weeks ago. They also never publicly announced that Zoe was pregnant.

“I’m so tired and I’m so in love,” he said to Jimmy.

“It’s so extreme. Your heart has gone like supernova in one sense. We landed from London last week and she cried for like 24 straight hours and you just kind of want to walk through a wall. It’s crazy.”

Carey Mulligan joins filmmakers and real-life couple Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan on the red carpet at the premiere of their movie Wildlife on Tuesday (October 9) in Los Angeles.

Paul directed the movie and co-wrote the film with Zoe. The film stars Carey and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Other stars who stepped out for the event were Thora Birch, Mamie Gummer, Grace Gummer, and Zoe‘s The Big Sick co-star Kumail Nanjiani and his co-writer and wife Emily V. Gordon.
