Issa Rae and Jada Pinkett Smith strike a pose on the carpet while attending An Artist at the Table Cocktail Reception & Dinner held during the 2018 Sundance Film Festival at DeJoria Center on Thursday (January 18) in Park City, Utah.

The 33-year-old Insecure star and Jada, 46, were joined at the kick off event by Jim Parsons and his husband Todd Spiewak, Chloe Sevigny, Octavia Spencer, Chaz Ebert, Michael Stuhlbarg and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Jada, Octavia and Michael are among the jury members for the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.

That same day, Issa joined Jason Mantzoukas, Zoe Kazan and Nick Offerman on Delta Air Lines’ fourth annual Delta Festival Shuttle to Park City flying from Los Angeles. It is a total party in the sky, as this influential crowd buzzed about the aircraft networking, sipped cocktails from the open bar, chatted about their Sundance projects and some even won tickets to far flung Delta destinations.

The couple hit the red carpet at the annual award show on Monday evening (November 27) in New York City.

They were joined at the event by Kumail‘s The Big Sick co-star Zoe Kazan.

The trio’s film is up for Best Screenplay at the ceremony.

The Big Sick is up against films including Call Me by Your Name, Get Out and Lady Bird.

The 34-year-old The Big Sick actress was joined at the AFI Fest screening by one of the film’s stars Timothee Chalamet, as well as her pal Morgan Saylor.

Zoe took to Twitter to express how she felt about the film, including how she couldn’t stop crying.

“i went to CALL ME BY YOUR NAME & it’s a good thing these pictures were taken beforehand because now my face is covered in mascara,” she wrote with photos from the red carpet.

“i started crying when elio’s foot touched oliver’s & i essentially didn’t stop until 2 hours after the movie had ended �’�🏼,” Zoe added.

Also in attendance was Anthony Mackie and his Detroit co-stars Malcolm David Kelley, Laz Alonso, Algee Smith and Tyler James Williams as they reunited to honor their director, Kathryn Bigelow, as well as Adam Sandler who hit the stage to introduce honoree Ted Sarandos.
