Zooey Deschanel is proving to her fans that she does have a forehead under those bangs!
The 41-year-old New Girl actress is known for her signature hairstyle and there was one time when she walked the red carpet with a completely different look, leaving her unrecognizable to most people.
A meme went viral with a side-by-side photo of Zooey with bangs and glasses and Zooey without either of them while attending the 2013 Met Gala.
“Seeing Zooey Deschanel without bangs and glasses, I finally get how nobody knew Clark Kent was Superman,” the meme said.
Zooey took to Twitter on Friday (March 26) and shared a new selfie without her bangs. “For all the doubters… proof I have a forehead,” she captioned the post. She also re-shared that meme.

Michael Bolton and Zooey Deschanel are co-hosting!
The two will co-host The Celebrity Dating Game for ABC, the network announced Thursday (February 18).

The show will debut with eight one-hour episodes, and “offers a wry wink at modern dating with a star-studded roster of celebrity singles from television, music, comedy, reality TV and feature film in their pursuit to find love.”
Here’s more, via ABC: “Offering the same iconic feel as the original classic dating show, each episode follows two celebrities who each pick one lucky suitor from a hidden panel of three bachelors and/or bachelorettes based on answers to a variety of questions. But there’s a twist! The celebrity identities will remain a mystery to their suitors, who are given clues via hilarious parody song performances by host Michael Bolton.”
The original Dating Game ran on ABC from 1965 to 1973.

The New Girl actress’ boyfriend Jonathan Scott took to Instagram on Sunday (January 17) to share a sweet message in honor of Zooey‘s 41st birthday.
“Today is my favorite person’s birthday.🥰 You are caring, talented, hilarious, sweet and just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside,” the 42-year-old Property Brothers host wrote.
Along with the message, Jonathan shared a bunch of super cute photos with Zooey.
“I know we can’t celebrate like we did last year, but I have a few surprises up my sleeve. #HappyBirthday, @ZooeyDeschanel. You fill my life with so much joy.❤️” Jonathan concluded.
Zooey then took to her own Instagram to thank all her fans for the love on her birthday.
“Celebrating another trip around the sun 🌸” Zooey wrote. “Thank you for all your lovely birthday wishes! So grateful for life and love 💗”
Zooey and Jonathan have been dating since September 2019, and in a new interview, Jonathan said it was love at first sight.

“My 2020 MVP was this guy, who always made me feel happy in spite of a weird and uncertain year. Hoping 2021 is full of silver linings for everyone, ❤️” Zooey wrote along with a few photos taken by her brother Caleb.
Jonathan also shared the same pictures on his Instagram, along with the caption, “I’m dedicating this year to love, happiness and the pursuit of helping others. I feel like I’ve got a good jumpstart on the love part 🥰 what are your resolutions? #HappyNewYear.”

Well, Katy made a big confession during the chat!
“I have to admit something, Zooey,” Katy said during an Instagram Live on Monday (December 21). “When I came to L.A., I was pretty much a nobody, and you were just getting so huge at that time — it was like Zooey Deschanel ran the world…In that moment, I was so complimented to look like you.”
“But I have to admit something to you on a Live: That when I first got to L.A., I went to the club a LOT,” she continued. “And I wanted to get into the club and I had no money, I had no clout, I had nothing, and sometimes I would pose as you to get into the club.”
Well, Zooey actually sorta already knew!
“People would be like, ‘I saw you!’ ” Zooey said. “But I’m such a Goody Two-shoes and people kept going, ‘I saw you out! I made eye contact with you!’ And I was like, ‘No!’ And then everybody kept telling me about this girl Katy, Katy, who looks just like you,’ and I’m like, ‘Who is this Katy?’ ”
“And then when I met you, I was so relieved because you’re so pretty and I was like, ‘Oh, thank God. She’s so pretty,’” Zooey continued. “You never know when people say you look like somebody what they’re gonna look like and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s gorgeous. Thank you.’”
“I was turned up to 11 at the club,” Katy said. “I’m sorry if I misrepresented you; I wanted to say that now.”
“It’s a compliment!” Zooey said.
For years and years, fans have been comparing how similar Katy and Zooey look. Zooey actually commented on it all the way back in 2012.
