Golden Globes Ratings 2016: 18.5 Million Viewers Tune In!

The ratings are in for the 2016 Golden Globe Awards and 18.5 million people tuned in to watch Ricky Gervais‘ return as host!

The number is off from last year’s 19.3 million viewers for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler‘s final stint as dual hosts, but it is up from the last time Ricky hosted the show.

The show received a 5.5 rating among adults 18-49, which means that 5.5% of all television-equipped households in that key demographic were tuned in.

The biggest broadcast on Sunday (January 10) however was the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins NFC Wildcard game, which averaged a 25 rating, according to THR.
