Peyton Manning‘s post Super Bowl 50 celebration speech had many wondering what was up when he seemingly had some product placement for Budweiser beer.

Head of marketing communications for Anheuser-Busch, Lisa Weser, clarified that they did not pay Peyton to make the mention.

“Hi Internet. For the record, Budweiser did not pay Peyton Manning to mention Budweiser tonight. We were surprised and delighted that he did,” Lisa tweeted. However, it has come to light that Peyton‘s mention gave the brand a $3.2 million boost!
