Meet Spencer Sutherland with These 10 Fun Facts & Listen to His Song 'Sweater'

Spencer Sutherland is launching an exciting new moment in his career with his new single “Sweater,” a new label, and a headlining tour launching days from now.

The 26-year-old soulful pop singer and songwriter dropped the video for “Sweater” recently and he is kicking off his tour on Monday (February 11) in Minnesota.

Spencer‘s debut EP is expected in early Spring and we caught up with him in the meantime to learn more about him.

Here are 10 Fun Facts about Spencer:

• 1. I love waking up really early. It goes against the “musician stereotype”, but I’m up at 6am.
• 2. I have 8 pairs of all white Vans high tops. They get dirty fast!
• 3. I love to play basketball. On tour off-days we play for 5-6 hours.
• 4. I take my Nespresso machine wherever I travel. It’s a travel size so kinda perfect.
• 5. I used to do Elvis impersonations in high school for retirement homes.

• 6. I’m a huge standup comedy fan. I go to a show like every month at least.
• 7. I’m a nervous flyer. I literally fly every week and I’ve gone on hundreds of flights, but I still get anxiety.
• 8. My favorite show is The Office. I know it’s everyone else’s favorite too but IT’S SO GOOD! Ready for a reboot.
• 9. I love Elvis. Everyone probably already knows this, but he’s my favorite artist of all time for a million reasons. He is the reason I ever started singing.
• 10. I slept on different couches for my first year in LA. I think it’s a right of passage as a musician/creative moving to LA. Now I have a room and bed though so life is good!!
