Get to Know Rising Singer Christian Paul With These 10 Fun Facts! (Exclusive)

Christian Paul is one of the most exciting pop acts bubbling under on the scene – and we’re giving you a chance to get to know him a little better.

The 19-year-old 12 Tone Music Group-signed rising star is currently working on a six song self-titled EP due out soon, recorded alongside Rihanna‘s writing and production team.

Ahead of the EP’s release, Christian just dropped his brand new video for his first official single, “Strong.”

The song first premiered on Beats 1 on A-List Pop, and also made it the Bop of the Week. It was also featured on Spotify’s Pop Rising and Pop Right Now playlists.

• 1. I was born and raised in Alabama, but have lived in 5 different cities and 3 different states.
• 2. I was a musician for almost 8 years before I started singing at 12.
• 3. My favorite color is green.
• 4. My label signed me after hearing a cover I recorded as I was skipping class in my old high school’s bathroom.
• 5. When I travel I always forget to bring toothpaste. I have no idea why! Luckily hotels have toothpaste available for forgetful people like me!

• 6. The Jonas Brothers‘ discography is my guilty pleasure. I still remember discovering the video for “Mandy” on YouTube when I was like 7.
• 7. I wrote my first song when I was 13. It was called “Maybe If,” and you definitely should NOT look it up. Hahaha.
• 8. When I was in elementary school, the middle school kids called me “Man Perm” because of my curly hair. I actually ended up straightening my hair from that point on until I was about 15. I eventually embraced my curls.
• 9. My manager discovered me on Twitter and Instagram, where I posted short, minute-long covers.
