'Pose' Producer Janet Mock Admits to Infidelity During Speech at Premiere Party, Asks Boyfriend Angel Bismark Curiel Not to Leave Her

Janet Mock is making headlines for the 15-minute speech that she gave at the season three premiere of the FX series Pose.

The 38-year-old trans activist is an executive producer, writer, and director on the award-winning series, which was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals.

Janet went on stage during the premiere party and talked about pay inequality in Hollywood and how she wanted the trans community to get better treatment. She questioned why she was only making $40,000 an episode when other TV executives make a lot more money, according to Page Six.

“F–k Hollywood … Does this make you uncomfortable? It should. It should make you f–king shake in your motherf–king boots. This is speaking truth. This is what Pose is,” she said.

Janet then demanded that her boyfriend Angel Bismark Curiel, who plays Lil Papi on the show, stand up.

“Let me tell you something about love,” Janet reportedly said while addressing her boyfriend, according to Page Six. “Today, I was gonna let [Angel] go. I was gonna let you go, right, but what did I do? I f–ked someone on the crew, right?”

Janet continued, “Angel, Angel. I’m not losing you. You hear me? You are f–king important to me. I don’t want to live in a house alone. I want you. You motherf–ker. Right there. That’s who I want. I’m getting what’s mine.”

It’s being reported that Janet also apologized to fellow executive producer Our Lady J for diminishing her work to “make myself bigger.”

Janet told the room, “I f–ked up, y’all. I forgot who the f–k I was. They want me to come up here and pretend. I don’t need Hollywood, honey. You know why? Cuz I’m f–king free.”

At the end of her speech, Janet reportedly had some words of encouragement for the show’s cast members. Some of them showed support for her after the speech, including Dominique Jackson. She shouted back from the audience, “Thank you for speaking for me!”
