Frank Sinatra's Friend Weighs In on Ronan Farrow Rumors, Reveals If He Thinks They're True or False (& Explains Why)

The question of Ronan Farrow‘s biological father has come up often throughout the years, and many believe legendary singer Frank Sinatra might be his true father due to their resemblance.

At the time of Ronan‘s birth on December 19, 1987, Ronan‘s mom, Mia Farrow, was in a relationship with disgraced director Woody Allen. Mia was previously married to Frank from 1966–1968.

Now, Frank‘s close friend Tony Oppedisano is speaking out about the major rumor in his new book, “Sinatra and Me: In the Wee Small Hours,” and is giving his opinion on if it’s true. If you don’t know, Tony was a member of Frank Sinatra’s management team.

“There’s been a lot of gossip about Frank‘s possibly being Ronan‘s biological father…rumors I believe I’m a position to tamp down,” Tony announced in the book.

“When she was beginning to have problems with Woody [Allen] she was looking for some comfort and it was like two old friends catching up,” Tony wrote of a meeting Mia and Frank had years after their divorce. “She was devastated and he was there to support her.”

Tony also wrote that it might have been medically impossible for Frank to be Ronan‘s biological father due to an emergency diverticulitis surgery he underwent in late 1986. he revealed Frank “had to wear a colostomy bag until he fully recovered.”

Ronan‘s December 1987 birthday was also addressed by Tony and he said Frank‘s calendar wouldn’t have allowed him to be the father.

“There are only two ways Frank could have fathered Ronan, both absurd,” he wrote. “Either Mia made a secret trip to shack up with Frank in his California home with [fourth wife] Barbara present, or Frank, wearing his…romantic colostomy bag, made a quick trip to Connecticut between his Atlantic City performances.”

“If Ronan had been Frank‘s son, Frank would have acknowledged him,” Tony wrote.
