Emilia Clarke Addresses the Possibility of Returning to the 'Star Wars' Franchise as Qi'Ra

Emilia Clarke is addressing one of her big roles.

The 34-year-old actress spoke about playing Qi’ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story in an interview with Happy Sad Confused podcast.

During the conversation, Emilia talked about whether she’d been asked to reprise the role after the Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters comic, which teased that Qi’ra could play an important role in the future.

“I have heard nothing,” Emilia said.

“Absolutely nothing. But a Lando show makes so much sense. Give that man his own show! Yes!” she continued, referring to the announcement of Star Wars: Lando last year.

She also discussed making Solo, and noted that it was possibly hard for audiences to separate characters from behind-the-scenes gossip.

“I loved Qi’ra. Loved her, really really did. I loved Han, I loved the story, I loved the people, I loved the experience. It was one of those ones where if you know too much about a celebrity, and you go and watch that movie and you’re just thinking about how many kids Angelina Jolie has? And I feel like our movie is that. Everyone went in knowing what our dirty laundry looked like. And you couldn’t separate that gossip from the overall experience, but I’m so over the moon that people are posthumously enjoying it.”

She also named a suspect in the infamous coffee cup mishap from Game of Thrones.
