Jerry O'Connell Might Be Joining 'The Talk' As An Official Co-Host!

Jerry O’Connell could be joining CBS’s The Talk, according to a new report.

The Wrap suggests that the 47-year-old actor could be taking over the seat vacated by Sharon Osbourne, who left the show after 11 years.

One source shared with the site that a deal was nearing completion for Jerry to join the show, and a second individual added that negotiations between the two have “been on and off since at least May.”

If Jerry should join the show, he’d be part of a panel with Sheryl Underwood, Amanda Kloots and Elaine Welteroth. Carrie Ann Inaba has taken a leave of absence from the series.

Jerry would also serve as the program’s first man to be on the panel.

He’s also been serving as a guest host on the show for a few months as well.

The Talk was just renewed for a 12th season by CBS a few months ago.
