Jessica Biel Announces New Wellness Brand Designed for Families

Jessica Biel is launching something new!

The 39-year-old actress announced her new lifestyle brand, Kinderfarms, in an interview with People magazine on Monday (July 12).

Jessica told the outlet that she was inspired to start her line after being frustrated by the lack of clean options at her pharmacy.

“You read the back of these labels and then when you start looking up what some of these things are, it doesn’t fit my values as a mom,” she explained.

The Playing for Keeps star shares 6-year-old Silas and 11-month old Phineas with husband Justin Timberlake.

That frustration led the actress and producer to Jeremy Adams, a natural products entrepreneur, who she bonded with over being parents and “how hard it was” to find clean and effective products.

“We just said, ‘You know what, we can do better than this,’” Jessica said. “It’s like once you have the information and then you start to research different ingredients, you start to think more about like, ‘Well, I wouldn’t put that in my body. Why would I put it in my kid’s body?’”

Jessica and Jeremy partnered with co-founder Greg Willsey to launch their health and wellness brand, which as Jessica says, creates an “option for families who have different value sets.”

The flagship product for the company is Kinderlyte, which is described as a natural, medical-grade hydration. Next month the brand will launch Kindersprout, a plant-based organic protein shake.

“The most important thing was to create products that I really felt I could stand behind as a mom and as a woman and a wife,” Jessica added. “And say to my family and my friends, “I really trust that the ingredients in these products are effective and non-toxic, just cleaner. That’s the priority.”
