If you were looking closely at the TV during the 2017 Academy Awards, something you might have noticed would have been Chrissy Teigen sleeping on her husband John Legend‘s shoulder!

Eagle-eyed fans caught the 32-year-old model taking a snooze while Casey Affleck was giving his acceptance speech for Best Actor at the Oscars.

“I think my favorite part of the Oscars so far has been Chrissy Teigen sleeping on John. She is my spirit animal,” a Twitter user captioned the below video.

Janelle Monae and Naomie Harris hit the red carpet at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday night (February 26) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The ladies had a lot to celebrate at the event as their movie Moonlight won the award for Best Picture!

Also in attendance at the event was Naomie‘s fellow acting nominee Isabelle Huppert.

Steve Harvey is speaking out to poke fun at the big snafu that happened at the 2017 Academy Awards when the wrong winner was announced for Best Picture!

The comedian famously announced the wrong winner at the Miss Universe pageant back in 2015 and it’s likely that he’ll never live down the moment.

“Good morning everybody! Went to sleep early last night. So… what I miss? #Oscars,” Steve tweeted on Monday morning.

“Tune in to @SteveHarveyFM at 8 AM ET today for my response to last night’s #Oscars . YOU KNOW I have something to say 😂,” he added.

Something that you might not have noticed happened during the 2017 Academy Awards was when Moana singer Auli’i Cravalho got hit in the head by a flag being woven in the air by a dancer!

Despite the mishap, the 16-year-old actress, who voiced the title character in the animated Disney film, kept on singing as if nothing had happened.

Auli’i performed the Oscar-nominated song “How Far I’ll Go” during the performance. The award for Best Original Song ended up going to “City of Stars” from the movie La La Land.

Halle Berry shows off some skin in a sexy number at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday night (February 26) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 50-year-old actress changed in a short dress after hitting the red carpet at the Oscars in a gown.

Halle is a former Oscar winner who won the award for Best Actress back in 2002 for her work in the film Monster’s Ball. She became the first black woman to win in the category.

FYI: Halle is wearing an Atelier Versace dress and Imagine Vince Camuto sandals.

PricewaterhouseCoopers, the accounting firm that tabulates the results of the Oscars voting process and is in charge of handing the envelopes to presenters, has released released a statement apologizing for the big mix-up that happened when the wrong winner was announced at the 2017 Academy Awards.

Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced the winner of Best Picture as La La Land and after the film’s producers accepted the prize, they were informed that Moonlight was the rightful winner of the award.

It appears that Warren Beatty was handed the wrong envelope before he walked on stage with Faye Dunaway to announce the Best Picture winner at the 2017 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood.

This lead to what has to be the most confusing moment in Oscar history: The wrong movie being called as the winner.

Many people are wondering why there is more than one envelope for each category.

Here is the reason:

There is a company called PwC in charge of protecting the envelopes and ensuring that the right envelopes get delivered to the right people.

“From a security perspective, we double up everything,” Brian Cullinan of PricewaterhouseCoopersexplained. “That’s why there’s two of us. We have two briefcases, that are identical, and we have two entire sets of winning envelopes. Martha [L. Ruiz] carries one of those briefcases, I carry the other.”

He continued, “We go to the show separately with police escorts. I used to think it was for our security, it’s really for the briefcase [laughs]. We take different routes to get there just because of the kinds of things that can happen in L.A. traffic. We want to make sure that no matter what happens, one of us gets there. We’ve never really had a problem with that.”

That explains the existence of two envelopes. How the wrong envelope ended up in Warren‘s hand is still a mystery.
