Adam Lambert had some huge plans with Christina Aguilera!

The 38-year-old For Your Entertainment crooner revealed that he was planning to tour with the 39-year-old Liberation singer this summer prior to the global health crisis in a tweet on Sunday (May 3).

Adam revealed the news in response to a fan discussing how Christina‘s song “Just a Fool” was demoed by Adam.

“You know what’s funny? There was a whole plan to tour w @xtina this summer around the US. Big venues too! But unfortunately everything went into Lock Down before we were ready to announce. Y’all know I’m an OG Christina Aguilera fan,” he responded in a quote-tweet.

Christina recently warmed hearts with this wonderful rendition of a Disney classic amid quarantine.

Adam Lambert and Queen re-recorded “We Are The Champions” for a very special group of people – frontline workers.

The musicians recorded their new version of the iconic song from home, where they’re staying home and staying safe amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Just like we sent our young men and women into two world wars to fight, these young men and women are now fighting for us and risking their lives every day,” guitarist Brian May shared with Rolling Stone about the new version. “That’s what this song has become about. It’s for everyone who is out there working and putting their life at risk.”

There were a few different versions that came out of this team up, however, Adam‘s “You Are the Champions” line won out.

“We told him to experiment and maybe do a few different versions,” Brian shared. “He came up with changing those words in the last chorus and I think it was a very good solution, just perfect. It takes a different turn at the end.”

Adam Lambert is celebrating the release of his fourth studio album, Velvet!

The 38-year-old singer has unveiled the music video for the title track off of the album, “Velvet,” in support of the launch day. The album comes six months after the release of EP Velvet: Side A, which contributes part of the new full-length.

“The song ‘Velvet‘ was written after I called the project Velvet. The title of the album came first,” Adam told EW about the album title. “I hadn’t finished all of the songs yet but I had probably about eight songs I knew that I was going to go with. I was trying to think of a word that described them all. There’s a sonic through line and there’s a vibe and a groove throughout the whole thing. If I compared it to my previous work, this stuff’s very smooth and I explore different parts of my voice that are a little softer and smoother and slinkier and soulful. I was like, ‘It’s smooth. It’s velvety.’ And I’m like, ‘Ooh, velvet. Well, that makes sense.’”

Adam‘s mini-residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas on April 22 and 24-25 had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

Adam Lambert has released his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Velvet!

The last time that Adam has dropped an album was nearly five years ago with The Original High.

The first six songs on Velvet were released back in September with the EP, Velvet: Side A. Now, the full 13-song album has arrived.

Adam will take The Velvet Tour across Europe later this year, which will include dates Manchester Pride on 30th August and London’s SSE Arena Wembley on 1st September.

More new music from Adam Lambert is on its way!

The 38-year-old singer has just announced that his brand new album Velvet is set to be released on March 20th.

The announcement comes with the release of Adam‘s new single “Roses” featuring Nile Rodgers, which arrives following previous single “Superpower” and the 2019 release of his EP Velvet: Side A.

Adam Lambert also announced a mini-residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas on April 22 and 24-25: Tickets go on sale February 8 for Velvet, his three-night limited engagement at Venetian Theatre. These will be his only solo dates in the U.S. this year. Lambert will tour the 13-song Velvet across Europe starting in Manchester, U.K. on Aug. 30 for the Manchester Pride festival, before playing London’s Wembley Arena and making his way across Europe concluding in Helsinki on September 12.

Adam Lambert has launched a new foundation!

The 37-year-old entertainer took to Instagram on Wednesday (January 22) to announce the launch of his Feel Something Foundation, whose mission is to support LGBTQ+ organizations.

“FEEL SOMETHING FOUNDATION! Mission: to support LGBTQ+ organisations that are moving the needle for communities of all ages and backgrounds,” Adam wrote.

The Feel Something Foundation aims to “ensure support is given to the myriad of issues that continue to disproportionately affect them. This will be achieved through working with charities that have a mission or project directly focused on impacting the LGBTQ+ community in areas of Education & the Arts; Homelessness; Suicide Prevention & Mental Health.”

Adam and his foundation also want to abolish “coming out” as a term used to define someone simply being themselves.

The Feel Something Foundation will soon be holding fundraising opportunities, with the first fundraiser coming soon giving fans the opportunity to bid on some of Adam‘s most iconic looks.

The 37-year-old singer shared the project with fans – following the previously released studio version – on Friday (January 10).
