Allison got sentimental on Instagram right before the ceremony, posting a photo of herself as a child: “She dreamed about it all, and now it’s happening. I can’t thank my little girl self enough for continuing to dream big – and for always having a style that I would classify as ‘permanent dress-up,’” she captioned the post.

The stars of Get Out hit the stage at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards held at The Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The movie won the award for Best Sci-Fi/Horror Movie early in the night and writer/director Jordan Peele took home the award for Best Original Screenplay.

Lupita Nyong’o shares a cute moment with Get Out director Jordan Peele and star Daniel Kaluuya on the red carpet at the 2018 National Board of Review Awards Gala on Tuesday night (January 9) at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

The ensemble of the film is receiving the Best Ensemble award and Jordan is receiving the award for Best Directorial Debut. The movie was also named one of the Top Films of the year.
