Regina Hall hits the stage for hosting duties at the 2019 BET Awards on Sunday night (June 23) in Los Angeles.
The 48-year-old actress opened up the awards show dressed as a queen as she was joined on stage by a marching band and Sugar Bear where they performed “Do You Know What Time It Is?,” “Da Butt” and “Run Joe.”

The 2019 BET Awards hosted by Regina Hall just wrapped up and the full list of winners for the awards show has been revealed!
During the show, DJ Khaled and John Legend hit the stage together for a powerful tribute to the late rapper Nipsey Hussle.
Also during the awards show, Mary J. Blige was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award while Tyler Perry was presented with the Ultimate Icon Award.

Taraji P. Henson was on hand to honor her close friend Tyler Perry at the 2019 BET Awards on Sunday (June 23) in Los Angeles.
The 48-year-old Empire star donned a sparkling, black dress as she hit the stage to present the 49-year-old director and producer with the Ultimate Icon Award.

“In a time where my counterparts were making way more than I was…Tyler Perry was the first to pay me my worth,” Taraji said about Tyler. “A black man did that and that means the world to me.”
Tyler added: “When I started hiring Taraji, Viola Davis and Idris Elba, they couldn’t get jobs in this town but God blessed me to be in a position to be able to hire them. I was trying to help somebody cross.”

DJ Khaled and John Legend join forces to pay tribute to Nipsey Hussle.
The two entertainers hit the stage in matching white outfits as they honored the late rapper at the 2019 BET Awards on Sunday (June 23) in Los Angeles.
