Blue Ivy Carter will be narrating the audiobook for “Hair Love”!

The 8-year-old first child of Beyonce and Jay-Z will be lending her voice to the book, which is based off of Matthew A. Cherry’s Oscar-winning short film.

The news was announced by Matthew, who gave fans a sneak peek of Blue Ivy‘s voice in the four-minute long audiobook.

The book centers on an African American dad attempting to do his daughter’s hair for the first time. It was released for the first time in May 2019 and features illustrations by Vashti Harrison.

The film of the same name won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film and it’s also being developed into an animated TV show at HBO Max called Young Love.

The 8-year-old daughter of Beyonce did some cute Halloween makeup on her grandmother Tina Knowles-Lawson over the weekend, who showed off the amazing results on her Instagram.

“My Blue is a great make up artist ! She made me into Grandma Skeleton !!❤️❤️,” the 66-year-old fashion designer captioned the post showing off the makeup, which featured dark eyes and skull details.

Beyonce‘s video for her song “Brown Skin Girl” has been released, and it co-stars her daughter Blue Ivy Carter among lots of other stars!

Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell, Lupita Nyong’o, singers Saint Jhn and WizKid are also featured in the amazing, six-minute long video. Jenn Nkiru directed the video, and many are wondering when it was actually filmed (pre-pandemic or more recently).

About the project, Beyonce said, “It was so important to me in ‘Brown Skin Girl’ that we represented all different shades of brown. We wanted every character to be shot in a regal light … It was important that we are all in this together and we’re all celebrating each other.”

Blue Ivy Carter will soon be making her movie debut!

The eight-year-old daughter Beyonce and Jay-Z will be appearing in the movie Black Is King, directed by Beyonce.

Blue Ivy was all smiles while wearing red lipstick and pearls while appearing in the latest trailer for the movie, which will be premiering on Disney+ on Friday, July 31.

The new film is based on the music of The Lion King: The Gift, debuting two weeks after the one-year anniversary of the theatrical release of Disney’s The Lion King.

The film “reimagines the lessons from the 2019 blockbuster for today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns.”

Special guests in the movie include models Aweng Ade-Chuol and Adut Akech, supermodel Naomi Campbell, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland, Pharrell Williams and Jay-Z, among others.

The 8-year-old daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z won her first BET award at the 2020 BET Awards on Sunday (June 28).

Blue Ivy took home the BET Her Award for her song “Brown Skin Girl” alongside the 38-year-old entertainer, SAINt JHN and Wizkid. The song was featured on The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack album.

This isn’t the first award Blue Ivy has won for “Brown Skin Girl.” The song also won the the Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards and Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration at the 2020 NAACP Image Awards.
