Chance the Rapper gave his hometown fans a huge surprise!

The 26-year-old rapper made a surprise appearance at TAO Chicago nightclub on Saturday night (August 3) in Chicago, Ill.

During his appearance, Chance grabbed a mic and started performing some of the new songs off of his new album The Big Day.

Chance performed songs like “Hot Shower” and “All Night Long” – songs that reference the TAO brand.

Chance the Rapper is going on tour later this year and he just announced all of the tour dates!

The 26-year-old Grammy-winning rapper’s The Big Day tour, titled after his new album, will stop in 35 cities across North America.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, August 2nd at 10am local time and the presales have already started.

Chance‘s new album is expected to debut in the number one spot on Billboard‘s albums chart this week.

Chance the Rapper is all smiles as he hits the stage at his Spotify: The Big Day album release party held at the Garfield Park Conservatory on Thursday night (July 25) in Chicago, Ill.

The three-time 26-year-old Grammy-winning rapper performed in front of over 500 fans in his native to celebrate his debut album, The Big Day, just hours before it officially dropped.

Chance came out super-hyped as he hit the stage performing a teaser rendition of “Groceries” off the new album. During the high energy set he performed songs from all three of his previously released mixtapes 10 Day, Acid Rap, and Coloring Book including “All We Got,” “Favorite Song,” “No Problems,” “Brain Cells,” “Same Drugs,” and “Blessings.”

When introducing his new song, “Do You Remember,” Chance the Rapper thanked all his Chicago fans for being on this journey with him from the beginning. He spoke of the enormous work that went into The Big Day and that he was actually scared to play this new track for them. Encouraged by the roaring crowd, he performed the song live for the first-time ever on the Spotify stage.

After years of dropping free mixtapes, and after a short delay on Friday (July 26), the three-time 26-year-old Grammy-winning rapper dropped his album The Big Day.

Back in May 2016, Chance made history with his independently-released mixtape Coloring Book, which debuted number 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, becoming the first streaming-exclusive set to reach the Top 10.

Chance the Rapper easily fooled host Jimmy Fallon in a game of Box of Lies on Tuesday night’s (July 16) episode of The Tonight Show!

The 26-year-old rapper and Jimmy, 44, tried their best to stump each other about what item was hidden inside their mystery boxes. Chance was up first, and acted as though he was confused by his figurine replica of Box of Lies.

Chance revealed that his album, titled The Big Day, will be dropping on Friday, July 26 and it’s available for pre-order here.

“I haven’t sold my projects before,” Chance shared. “All my mixtapes were free.”
