Chrissy Metz has released her latest song as part of her music career!

The 39-year-old actress is best known for playing Kate on the hit NBC series This Is Us, but she’s also an amazing singer and has even performed at the Oscars.

Chrissy‘s song “I’m Standing With You” from her movie Breakthrough was nominated for an Oscar earlier this year and she got to perform the song at the event.

The new song “Actress” was co-written by Chrissy, Nicolette Hayford, Matt McGinn and Nathan Spicer.

“I love a good break up song and I love the play on words,” Chrissy said about the song. “Obviously, I’m an actress, but we have all had those experiences where we put on that brave face when our heart is just broken, we act as if nothing is wrong even though you’re dying inside- wanting something so desperately you don’t have anymore.”

Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz and more reunited on Zoom ahead of the weekend to catch up with each other and all had the cutest reactions on Instagram.

“I miss my Pearson family SO much and seeing these faces really lifted my spirits. #thisisus,” Mandy first shared on the platform tagging her on-screen fam, including Milo Ventimiglia, Jon Huertas, Chris Sullivan, Justin Hartley, and Susan Kelechi Watson.

Susan added, “You know like when you just gotta see the fam? Yeah… that part. #ThisIsUs zooming.”

The This Is Us stars caught up with each other after it was revealed that they had come together and teamed up with Frontline Foods to feed hospital workers at Jefferson Hospital and Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights in Pittsburgh, and other hospitals in Philadelphia, too.

Frontline Foods, which partners with the nonprofit World Central Kitchen, raises money to allow local restaurants to make and deliver meals to health care workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, using 100% of the tax-deductible donations.

Chrissy Metz is breaking into the music scene!

The 39-year-old This Is Us actress and singer released her new song “Talking to God” on Friday (April 3).

The song was written by Nicolette Hayford, Connie Harrington, Jake Mitchell, Ashley McBryde and Aaron Raitiere, and is the first song to be released from her upcoming debut album on EMI Records Nashville.

“‘Talking To God’ is a song about those moments when we ask the questions we desperately want the answers to. Whether it’s a lost love or why our own lives look much different than the way we had hoped they would. It’s about those personal prayers and conversations we have while listening and learning to surrender and trust in the bigger picture,” she says of the song.

Ming-Na Wen looks so gorgeous in a tapestry like gown at the premiere of Mulan held at Dolby Theatre on Monday night (March 9) in Hollywood.

The 56-year-old actress was the voice of the character in the 1998 animated film.

Ming-Na was joined by American Housewife stars Carly Hughes and Meg Donnelly, Lana Condor, Chrissy Metz, Jaimie Alexander, Amy Brenneman, Missi Pyle, Alexis Knapp, Kimora Lee Simmons, Dania Ramirez, and Superstore‘s Nico Santos.
