Dakota Johnson Recalls Dispute With Her Neighbors on 'Kimmel' - Watch! (Video)

Dakota Johnson and Jimmy Kimmel are chatting over the fence!

The 30-year-old The High Note star had a conversation with the TV host for Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (May 29).

During their catch-up, Dakota spoke about what she has been doing during quarantine, and where Jimmy ranks among the neighbors that she has had.

She also referenced the dispute she had with her neighbors, who had her truck towed.

“They had your grandfather’s truck towed, and now you’re renting a garage,” Jimmy noted.

“They never owned up to it. Do you remember that night? That was nuts. I lost my mind,” Dakota laughed.

“They did tell me that it was them,” Jimmy revealed.

“Did they say that they saw the show? Oh my God,” Dakota said.

She also talked about friends who overstay their welcome, and her grandmother Tippi Hedren.

Dakota Johnson is making some choices.

The 30-year-old Fifty Shades actress appeared in the latest episode of Comedy Central’s Stir Crazy with Josh Horowitz on Thursday (May 28).

During the episode, Dakota discussed her quarantine experience, took her best guess at what day it is, and showed off her stick-and-poke “I love you” tattoo, as well as playing a game of “Would You Rather” with Josh.

At one point, she was asked if she’d rather be in an erotic book club with Jamie Dornan, or his Fifty Shades character, Christian Grey.

“Probably Jamie…he’s a lot funnier than Christian Grey,” she admitted.

“He’s a little one-note,” Josh added.

“Sadly,” Dakota agreed.

She also talked about directing a Coldplay music video and played a game of charades.

Dakota Johnson Remembers Growing Up With Grandmother Tippi Hedren's Tigers & Lions

Dakota Johnson is opening up about what it was like knowing her grandmother, The Birds actress Tippi Hedren, had lions and tigers in her home.

The 30-year-old star chatted during an interview with Graham Norton about the big cats her grandmother and grandfather, Peter Griffith, had in their home. Dakota‘s mom Melanie Griffith, grew up alongside them all.

“She has 13 or 14 lions and tigers [now],” she shared. “But there used to be like 60 cats. But now, there’s just a couple.”

Dakota added that “by the time I was born they were all in huge compounds and it was safer. It wasn’t as totally psycho as it was when they first started.”

There’s a famous article of Tippi and her family with the big cats. It was published in 1971.

Just recently, Dakota opened up about how to deal with anxiety during quarantine.

Dakota Johnson Is Reading About the Feminine Psychology

Dakota Johnson leaves a medical building on Thursday afternoon (May 21) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old The High Note actress was seen carrying a copy of the book “She: Understanding Feminine Psychology” by Robert A. Johnson.

The 98-page book was originally published back in 1976 and this revised edition was released in 2009. It’s billed as a “groundbreaking, brilliant, and insightful work on how women transition into being mature and developing their own identity.”

Dakota Johnson Gets Candid About Quarantine Depression & Directing a Coldplay Music Video

Dakota Johnson is opening up about life at home.

The 30-year-old The High Note star spoke to Extra about her upcoming movie, as well as co-directing a music video for boyfriend Chris Martin‘s band Coldplay, and her quarantine depression.

“You are at home, you’re not with your friends, you’re not with your family, you are not able to do the things that make you feel worthwhile…you’re kind of in this costume of depression…right now, there’s also immense pain and sadness ricocheting around the world constantly so it’s hard to feel totally positive all day every day when the world is sad, it’s dangerous and it’s scary and it’s lonely,” she admitted.

“Meditation or going for a walk, being kind to your body…those little things make a difference ultimately.”

As for what she’s been doing: “I’ve been reading a lot and watching a lot of movies and working on production stuff, trying to be productive.”

She also spoke about directing “Cry Cry Cry”: “That experience was just pretty dreamy. I am so grateful I was given the opportunity… I was working with such incredible artists in every department… I felt extremely privileged to make that video,” she said.

Dakota Johnson Shares Tips For Dealing With Anxiety & Depression in Quarantine

Dakota Johnson is opening up about how she’s dealing with depression during quarantine, and sharing some tips for fans who are going through the same thing.

While speaking with Extra about her new movie, High Note, the 30-year-old actress addressed how anxiety and depression could take over your life while staying at home.

“You are at home, you’re not with your friends, you’re not with your family, you are not able to do the things that make you feel worthwhile…You’re kind of in this costume of depression…,” she says.

Dakota adds, “Right now, there’s also immense pain and sadness ricocheting around the world constantly so it’s hard to feel totally positive all day every day when the world is sad, it’s dangerous and it’s scary and it’s lonely.”

Some of the things that Dakota herself has practiced to fight off her struggles are “meditation or going for a walk, being kind to your body…Those little things make a difference ultimately.”

If you didn’t read, Dakota also opened up about her personal struggles with Marie Claire magazine, revealing she’s been in an out of depression since she was just 14.
